Well there's the fact that Ted Nugent is their most famous member (paired with their highly 'Murican band name)

And that one of the songs is called "Don't Tread On Me" and is very clearly about how interventionism is really cool and good

Though both of these were secondary to their songs obviously being some wack-ass bull-doody

wrong . The band also is made up of Night Ranger's Jack Blades and Styx Tommy Shaw, both were in bands with huge top 40 status. Ted's biggest hit is "Cat Scratch Fever". Not to take anything from Ted. He is a great guitarist, but A list credit here goes all around the band.
