Does this really have a shot at #1 on Billboard? How much does album release week typically help out a popular single like this? I know it worked for "Havana" getting pushed to #1 for one week, but I wonder if this might only reach #2. "The Box" is still a streaming juggeaurnant on Spotify and Apple Music and dwarfs "Blinding Lights" on Youtube. But The Weeknd will be beating him on the airplay and sales front. It's going to be tough.

Speaking of Abel and YouTube, why the hell are his views so low this era? I didn’t expect Heartless to light up on there, but BL‘s numbers are ridiculous low for such a worldwide smash.

It's most likely due to the content (acid trips, drugs, etc.) within the music videos and the thumbnail for "Blinding Lights". Blood has a tendency to turn off people from watching a video (had some friends think it was a little over the top). It's a shame though because some of Abel's best videos are trippy as hell, like "In the Night" for example. Luckily the audio video for "Blinding Lights" is continuing to be streamed a good amount though.

I think a lot of it has to do with the graphic violence depicted in a lot of his videos. Because his videos are dark, they tend to have less rewatchability.

Its for everybody. Look at Ariana’s youtube numbers, absolutely tragic compared to 2016. Youtube’s algorithm is sh*t and latin music currently dominates there.
