They must have some sort of "close enough" algorithm for song titles/artists. The same chart replaced "We Were" by Keith Urban with "We Were Us" by Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert from 2013.
They also recently listed Tyler the Creator as the trio "Tyler, The Creator and The Creator".
Not the first creator to be described as 3 persons in one.

So, this is relevant to the question about whether "Old Town Road" really felt that big in the US: I saw this article published on Morning Consult recently where they polled U.S. adults by generation on how many have heard the song. They found that 42% of U.S. adults overall have listened to the song at least once, including 85% of Gen Z adults and 69% of millennials. In addition to that, they also found that 58% of U.S. adults who've heard the song listened to it more than five times, including 69% among Gen Z adult listeners and 61% among millennial listeners. Here's some charts from the article: I'm sure if they also polled kids and teens, the percentage of Americans who've heard the song would definitely be bigger than 42%.

I wonder how these stats compare to other big songs recently such as Gods Plan, Despacito, Shape of You, Uptown Funk and so

A History of Boyfriends & Girlfriends on the Hot 100, From 'My Boyfriend's Back' to 'Break Up With Your Girlfriend' 8/13/2019 by Xander Zellner
Ariana Grande & Social House's "Boyfriend" is the 15th Hot 100 hit with "boyfriend" in its title. As Ariana Grande and Social House's "Boyfriend" debuts at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Aug. 17), it joins a storied history of Hot 100 hits about boyfriends and girlfriends.
Of the more than 28,000 songs to hit the Hot 100 in the chart's 61-year history, the collab is the 15th entry with "boyfriend" in its title and the first since Justin Bieber's No. 2-peaking "Boyfriend" in 2012. Of those, it's just the third to reach the top 10, after Bieber's hit and The Angels' classic "My Boyfriend's Back," the chart's first "boyfriend" song, in the summer of 1963, and the only one to reach No. 1.
As for "girlfriends" on the Hot 100, Grande also charted the most recent: "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" reached No. 2 in February. It likewise became the 15th "girlfriend" Hot 100 hit and the second-highest-charting, after Avril Lavigne's No. 1 "Girlfriend" in 2007. (Along with those 15 songs, The Byrds' "Lady Friend" rose to No. 82 in 1967.) The first "girlfriend" song to hit the Hot 100? Royal Teens' "Harvey's Got a Girlfriend," a No. 78-peaking novelty track that entered on Aug. 11, 1958 (a week after the Hot 100 launched).
Grande's "Girlfriend" is one of four Hot 100 top 10s with "girlfriend" in their titles, joining Lavigne's leader; *NSYNC's "Girlfriend," featuring Nelly (No. 5, 2002); and Pebbles' "Girlfriend" (No. 5, 1988).
Meanwhile, two Hot 100 hits sport both "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" in their titles: BLACKstreet's "Girlfriend/Boyfriend," with Janet Jackson (No. 47, 1999), and C-Side's "Boyfriend/Girlfriend," featuring Keyshia Cole (No. 72, 2008). Honorable mention to Grande and Social House's new hit, whose chorus begins, "You ain't my boyfriend (boyfriend)/ And I ain't your girlfriend (girlfriend)."
Additionally, as for artists charting on the Hot 100, two groups fit the discussion: The Girlfriends and, to the contrary, Ex-Girlfriend. The Girlfriends were a Los Angeles-based girl group in the 1960s comprising three members of The Blossoms after they disbanded. The trio earned one Hot 100 hit: "My One and Only, Jimmy Boy" (No. 49, 1964). Ex-Girlfriend was a Brooklyn-based R&B girl group that notched one entry: "Why Can't You Come Home" (No. 78, 1991).
In chronological order and including peak position, here is every "boyfriend" song to hit the Hot 100 (with, noticeably, no such songs charting after 1964, when the word was a staple of early bubblegum pop, until 1992).
The Angels, "My Boyfriend's Back," No. 1, Aug. 31, 1963 Bobby Comstock and The Counts, "Your Boyfriend's Back," No. 98, Sept. 21, 1963 The Chiffons, "I Have a Boyfriend," No. 36, Jan. 4, 1964 Donna Lynn, "My Boyfriend Got a Beatle Haircut," No. 83, March 21, 1964 MC Luscious, "Boom! I Got Your Boyfriend," No. 61, April 11, 1992 MeShell Ndegeocello, "If That's Your Boyfriend (He Wasn't Last Night)," No. 73, March 5, 1994 BLACKstreet with Janet, "Girlfriend/Boyfriend," No. 47, April 10, 1999 Ashlee Simpson, "Boyfriend," No. 19, Nov. 5, 2005 C-Side feat. Keyshia Cole, "Boyfriend/Girlfriend," No. 72, May 10, 2008 Pleasure P, "Boyfriend #2," No. 42, May 23, 2009 New Hollow, "Boyfriend," No. 96, Feb. 26, 2011 Big Time Rush, "Boyfriend," No. 72, May 7, 2011 Glee Cast, "I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend to Dance With You," No. 72, May 28, 2011 Justin Bieber, "Boyfriend," No. 2, April 14, 2012 Social House & Ariana Grande, "Boyfriend," No. 8, Aug. 17, 2019
And, also in chronological order, here is every "girlfriend" song to hit the Hot 100 (which, similar to "boyfriend" hits, saw an absence after 1968 until 1987).
Royal Teens, "Harvey's Got a Girl Friend," No. 78, Aug. 11, 1958 Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart, "Alice Long (You're Still My Favorite Girlfriend)," No. 27, Aug. 24, 1968 Bobby Brown, "Girlfriend," No. 57, Jan. 24, 1987 Prince, "If I Was Your Girlfriend," No. 67, June 20, 1987 4 By Four, "Want You for My Girlfriend," No. 79, July 4, 1987 Pebbles, "Girlfriend," No. 5, April 23, 1988 Hi-Five, "Just Another Girlfriend," No. 88, Nov. 30, 1991 BLACKstreet with Janet, "Girlfriend/Boyfriend," No. 47, April 10, 1999 NSYNC feat. Nelly, "Girlfriend," No. 5, April 6, 2002 B2K, "Girlfriend," No. 30, April 26, 2003 Steve Holy, "Brand New Girlfriend," No. 40, Sept. 9, 2006 Avril Lavigne, "Girlfriend," No. 1, May 5, 2007 Bow Wow & Omarion, "Girlfriend," No. 33, Dec. 29, 2007 C-Side feat. Keyshia Cole, "Boyfriend/Girlfriend," No. 72, May 10, 2008 Theory of a Deadman, "Bad Girlfriend," No. 75, Oct. 25, 2008 Ariana Grande, "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored," No. 2, Feb. 23, 2019
