I missed the joke last week. What is it? Are you looking to pick a fight? Sit down, brother. No, I legit don't know what the joke was. I suppose I could just look in the thread myself but it's probably dozens of pages.

For people living in the US, does OTR really feel that big? Like, does it feel as big as Despacito or Uptown Funk when those songs were #1?

I know the situations for each song are different, but it's incredible when you look at all the major artists who have released new singles during Old Town Road's run and not been able to dethrone it: Taylor Swift Ed Sheeran Justin Bieber Shawn Mendes Cardi B Drake Post Malone Ariana Grande... It reads like a who's who of A-list Hot 100 artists from the last few years, all held back by Lil Nas X. Crazy. And why exactly is Camila not on this list? Honestly because I forgot about her.

Just checked- OTR was No. 1 on the Aug. 10 chart. So, 17 weeks on top of On-Demand- shows it wasn't just a YouTube sensation. True. But most of its weekly streaming are coming from YouTube, even though not necessarily the most points from streaming, I think.

Last week, OTR tied the all-time record for most weeks at #1 on the On-Demand chart. Funny that Goodbyes was the song that beat OTR for one week in July and helped rockstar to keep its record (now tied w/ OTR). Also, it is insane that Old Town Road has the all-time record for biggest on-demand peak (80.6M), biggest streaming peak (143M), most weeks at #1 on the On-Demand chart (17 weeks) and most week at #1 on the Streaming chart (19 weeks).

Ariana Grande (+7) I've forgotten who said this would happen, but wow, it did. Tool is #1 on the Artist 100. I wonder how Billboard puts this list together. Drake is charting more albums, more songs, has more streams and more activity on both the Hot 100/Billboard 200, but yet.

Tool releasing their whole catalogue digitally is a much bigger event than a package of B sides, not surprised I get that, but isn't the Artist 100 based on overall activity? Isn't the artist who has the most activity across various Billboard charts meant to be #1? And isn't that artist Drake this week? That's all I'm wondering about.

I'm not sure if Drake will re-enter the Social 50 this week, but if he doesn't, Tool will be higher in that category. I'm not so sure his older albums got that big of a boost from the new one, given it isn't really a new release. Tool has four albums in the Top 20, along with 11 songs in Digital Song Sales, with 3 in the Top 10. Here is Billboard describing the Artist 100: "Blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social-media fan interaction." We may get an explanation when the article comes out, maybe.

We may get an explanation when the article comes out, maybe. I hope we get an explanation. They charted four albums in the top 20, yes, but Drake will more than likely chart 6 albums this week: Care Package at #1 with about 109K units along with the other 5 albums he's been charting weekly for months now: Scorpion, VIEWS, More Life, Take Care and Nothing Was the Same. Care Package and Scorpion alone will have him above 130K units. I don't think all four of the Tool's albums moved that many units. Not to talk about how Tool's only debuted one song on the Hot 100 while Drake has 10 songs on the Hot 100 this week. He also pulled in more streams this week. He outdoes them by a sizeable margin in three important Billboard charts and metrics, so it's really confusing how he isn't #1. But like you said, hopefully we get an explanation because I'll be interested in reading how the Artist 100 really works.

The amount he's talking about making Panini bigger hit makes me think that there are not new tracks in sight just yet.
