Is it too early to start putting “Cruel Summer” in all-time lists? If it keeps up streaming wise at this rate, we’d be looking at nearly a full calendar year of utter dominance—and it’s already a five-year-old song.

Definitely not too early to start talking about all-time lists. After it becomes her biggest hit, that's where it's headed next. It only needs to stay on the charts till May to make a full year, which it should easily do, but with it likely to experience a mild resurgence at least during the early part of the summer, or at least stay stable, it could stay on for well beyond a year. |

Isn't it so crazy how we all were dying for this to become a single in 2019-20 and we lost all hope when Folklore came out, but now here we are. Will become her biggest hit and aiming for all-time charting status. Lover is her biggest album in the streaming era and is not slowing down anytime soon. It's really come full circle since the days of "ME!" and "You Need To Calm Down."

Back up to #10 on US Spotify, and #4 on Global Spotify. At this stage it won’t get near Hot 100 recurrency until the summer, where it will probably reignite again

- #1 on the worldwide Apple Music chart
- back up to #10 on US Spotify

When they say going recurrent, how low does the song have to fall on the Billboard Hot 100? Sometimes these things confuse me. Below #50 if it's been on for over 20 weeks, or below #25 if it's been on more than 52 weeks. |

Anyone that doesn’t think this is her biggest hit needs to remember that every Taylor Swift fan has already had four years of time to play this song to death before it even started going on this record-breaking run. There’s well over a million people that actually purchased, not streamed, Lover, whose plays of this won’t be ever registered on all time stats. It’s probably her biggest hit just on pure chart performance alone, but add in the fact that not one week of its run came from initial release hype, and it’s simply undeniable.
