The Man now has 700M on Spotify, You Need To Calm Down is an Apple Music staple, Lover is slowly but surely becoming the classic we all knew it was and Cruel Summer smashed beyond our wildest streams. I think what they meant was that "You Need To Calm Down," pretty much stays on apple music all the time now. Like it's almost always there on US Apple Music, as well as other countries |

Currently predicted to return to the Hot 100 top 10 at #10, likely due to the release of the Eras Tour on Disney+. Greedy, Cruel Summer, and Cardi's new song are all within 3 points of each other to claim #9-#11.

First of all, people should understand the phrase "pull out (from radio)" is something that X (formerly known as Twitter) fans created when a determined song stop receiving rotation from radio programmers in favour of other songs. That said, this wasn't pulled out from radio because this phrase simply doesn't exist. The track reached a peak and it's expected to fall, which happened. Also, it should be mentioned that Republic was prioritizing "Is It Over Now?" and with the release of her upcoming tenth album The Tortured Poets Department next month, a song from that album should be pushed to radio too soon.
An increase of "Cruel Summer" as a recurrent is natural in my opinion (after the tactic Republic did to "Is It Over Now?" to reach atop), but it's still interesting to see because there's a demand of the track yet. I think it could slow down (a little bit) once it's announced which song from The Tortured Poets Department is properly pushed to radio in the following weeks, but time will tell how "Cruel Summer" is going to perform with the release of the aforementioned.

The expression 'pulled from radio' does my head in lmao. Literally the only example I can think of, of something actually being 'pulled from radio' is Kesha's 'Die Young', which got promptly shafted in light of Sandy Hook. And even then IDK if that was label-directed, or whether radio just collectively pulled the plug because the optics of keeping it in high rotation at such a time were utterly terrible.
Songs don't get 'pulled from radio'. Labels just stop promoting them, and radio drops them. This happens to everything. I hate how it's always the misunderstanding of wtf actually happens is the thing that becomes widespread.

Cruel Summer is pushing closer and closer to 50 Weeks on the charts. I wonder if all the album bombs will push this to recurring soon? Maybe Taylor's own album Bomb with Poets will push it to recurring. What a run this has had!

Predicted to be #14 on the Hot 100 this week, and #10 next week (which would be its 50th week). I’m really, really hoping it makes it to the Wikipedia list of most weeks on the Hot 100 (I believe 68 is the current minimum)
