I'm still surprised how Someone You Loved is doing well on Hot 100. I was just hoping for a top 10 peak lol. A piano ballad is just something I didn't expect be a big hit these days. I knew radio will eat this up but the Spotify US performance really impressed me.

Wow. There's no way anyone will tell Lauren Daigle isn't massively influenced by Adele. Beyond the similarities in their voices, she sings EXACTLY the way Adele sings.
I had to check several times to be sure I wasn't listening to an Adele album. I wonder how Adele feels about it. Especially with her rising to prominence this past year. She's about three years younger than Adele and didn't start making music as early as Adele did so I'm sure she's pulled heavily from Adele's music. It's just too much. I enjoyed her album, though. Very well written and produced.
