I seriously thought "Writing On The Wall" and "Chicken Noodle Soup" would debut higher than #56 and #81 respectively. I guess not all hype from the first day stays within the following days. I had no idea Writing on the Wall debuted that low. It had a video to go along with it and everything.

Post is like Ariana in that his collabs never typically perform well compared to his solo music. And Cardi...idk, I feel like people are kind of over her at this current moment.

Congrats on Old Town Road and Bad Guy becoming just two of the few songs ever to hit 26 weeks in the top 10 on the Hot 100! You mean this year or...? Because every huge hit is getting there. And the record of 33 weeks is in peril at least two to three times a year. Streaming makes the charts sloooooow when it comes to finally letting go of some songs. I meant on all-time. But that's really not the point.

Yea it should’ve been pretty clear that WOTW wasn’t gonna be a hit. Like I said last week, Post has no feature stimulus and French flops no matter who’s on his song. He had 2 Drake features recently that had videos and a radio push and they both did poorly.

I was gonna question how Unforgettable became the exception to French's flopping rule, but then I remembered it takes him two minutes to appear in it lmao.

They might have done something with the chart histories. I can no longer look up specific charts. :/

What happened to Pop Out? It's not on the Hot 100 or the recurrent chart. They changed it since then. Apparently it debuts at #3 on Recurrents, replacing Speechless.

I wouldn't say Post has NO feature impact, Jackie Chan got over 500m streams on Spotify and he's a feature.

I don't think people have moved on completely from her, I just think that during this current era, fatigue has set in, and she needs to take a break. The releasing a new single every-one-to-two months tactic worked for a while for her, but as we have seen, this has not and can never be, for her or anyone else, a sustainable long-term method. I think she just happened to take advantage of a window mid-last year when there was a drought in strong pop music, and she just happened to release a lot of good singles that a lot of people liked and radio was willing to play, but of course, in the long-run, radio can only play so many songs by the same artist for so long. I don't think Boyfriend particularly has been a flop though, however this week it has strangely been bloodletting radio audience like crazy. It wouldn't make sense that they are trying to focus more on DCMA, because that doesn't show much promise and isn't gaining much either. Are they trying to make way for a another lead single for a new album already? I...wasn't talking about Ariana at all. Alright sorry, a slight misunderstanding there. As for Miley then, I think it's both that she has changed things up too many times and that people are getting tired of her and have moved on because she's been around for so long. You could also argue that she already started to become heavily irrelevant way back in 2010 with Can't Be Tamed flopping, and that Bangerz was just a momentary comeback. I'm not quite sure what you mean though when you say "straying from the hip-hop sphere," as if that were her core format. Her Hannah Montanna days definitely were not hip-hop, maybe Bangerz was a little hip-hop influenced, but not full-on.

I'd say the issue is more French Montana's unfortunate career than any failure from Post.
