Is DaBaby the only artist besides Ariana, Taylor and Post to have their entire album debut on the Hot 100 this year? I'd personally count Billie since goodbye and !!! aren't really songs but other than that yeah

So the Billboard article either got it wrong or chart history got it wrong but "Good As Hell" has moved to #30, not #28.

So happy for OTR!!!!!!!!!!! 26 weeks in top 10 + 19 weeks at number 1 = 45 It finally ties with Uptown Funk and Shape of You's (31+14, 33+12) in that league. I knew it's the decade's most iconic hit!

She's gotta take a year or so off, everything she's released post-TUN has performed worse and worse. People aren't gonna be clamoring for a new Ari album if she keeps releasing half baked, mediocre music.

Congrats on Old Town Road and Bad Guy becoming just two of the few songs ever to hit 26 weeks in the top 10 on the Hot 100! You mean this year or...? Because every huge hit is getting there. And the record of 33 weeks is in peril at least two to three times a year. Streaming makes the charts sloooooow when it comes to finally letting go of some songs.

It's a bad week for Miley too. I happen to like Slide Away, and it's a shame the song (and everything else Miley has released this year) has flopped so hard. While I'm no big fan of "Mother's Daughter" or "Don't Call Me Angel," "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart" and "Slide Away" deserved a better fate.

I find it funny that people were laughing that OTR "only" spent 23 weeks in the top ten despite being number 1 for 19 and then it returned to the top ten for another 3 weeks. That song is a monster and some of its weeks at #1 are the strongest in the charts history.
And also go Panini, what a good follow up single.

I have to wonder if her recent flops have been a result of her switching up too many times or if people have simply moved on like they have with a lot of artists. Makes me question where Miley would be if she never strayed away from the hip-hop sphere and never made Younger Now.

RE: Miley.
DCMA sucks.
Slide Away has been poorly handled. They should have gone all put with the promo considering the state of her commercial career.
Mother's Daughter was fine but never felt like the type of song to reignite a career (think "We Can't Stop").
NBLAH flopping is a mystery to me. Great track, well promoted... one of the best of her career too...

Makes me question where Miley would be if she never strayed away from the hip-hop sphere and never made Younger Now. I don't think people have moved on completely from her, I just think that during this current era, fatigue has set in, and she needs to take a break. The releasing a new single every-one-to-two months tactic worked for a while for her, but as we have seen, this has not and can never be, for her or anyone else, a sustainable long-term method. I think she just happened to take advantage of a window mid-last year when there was a drought in strong pop music, and she just happened to release a lot of good singles that a lot of people liked and radio was willing to play, but of course, in the long-run, radio can only play so many songs by the same artist for so long. I don't think Boyfriend particularly has been a flop though, however this week it has strangely been bloodletting radio audience like crazy. It wouldn't make sense that they are trying to focus more on DCMA, because that doesn't show much promise and isn't gaining much either. Are they trying to make way for a another lead single for a new album already?

I seriously thought "Writing On The Wall" and "Chicken Noodle Soup" would debut higher than #56 and #81 respectively. I guess not all hype from the first day stays within the following days.

What happened to Pop Out? It's not on the Hot 100 or the recurrent chart.
