If Drake during his down period still manages to nab one of the biggest hits of the summer (and another pretty decently sized hit), it's gonna be fun watching him in album mode when he's actually trying to rule the charts.

Maybe Drake will drop a little something for his birthday, which is in like 2 weeks
If he does tho, it’d be funny how similar this season will be to Fall 2015, with Drake having a single out and Justin and Adele teasing/rumored to release. Then you throw in Rihanna who’ll release in the next couple of months similar to how she did in early 2016

think we all can agree that Travis probably isn’t getting a second week at top (if he does debut 1) so I wonder Truth Hurts could get a 7th week or perhaps Capaldi could leap over truth Hurts and get a week on top

I dont see why it wouldn’t be TH at #1 this week. Lizzo is still doing better on radio and sales over SYL by a good margin and is higher on streaming as well

HITR still below 5M on radio estimates. Also good as hell rising rapidly on radio, circles continuing to rise, as well as memories. Prayed for you is a lot higher on radio than I thought at #15, definitely something to look out for.

Billboard needs to create chart history pages for more artists, Juice WRLD and Lil Baby don't have one despite both having over 20 songs chart on the Hot 100.

I peeped the Spotify US figures for Friday (a day most songs usually increase in streams) and HITR, while still #1, had lost over 100K streams. It'll also lose more streams in the Saturday and Sunday updates.
In it's second week, HITR won't have: any sizeable radio updates (if it's first week performance on radio is any indication), any sales from bundles and way fewer streams from all platforms. Is it safe to say that it'll be spending just a single week at #1?

If it falls from #1 on AM, then chances are it'll probably drop out of the top 10 as well since it likely needs to do overwhelmingly well there to accommodate for the lack of success in other metrics.

Either way, this song doesn't seem primed for longevity, especially in the top 10/20 region.

I'm actually surprised rhythmic and urban radio haven't jumped all over it yet. It's an easy enough listen and Travis has landed several songs on both formats before. I think the undoing of the song will be the YouTube US streams stalling, along with the boost from bundles coming to an end. I also feel like for an artist who has appeared on quite a number of songs post-ASTROWORLD till now, people just aren't as eager to push a new song by Travis this time of the year the way they would have months ago if he hadn't appeared on so many features and this was his first appearance on a song since Sicko Mode. I don't know how to explain it. I believe any song that'll perform really well from now till the end of the year will need to either be a new single from an artist who hasn't dropped new music in a while or a song that's been steadily rising in various metrics for the past few weeks and finally stabilizes at a high peak.

Harry has a harsher Day 2 drop than Don’t Call Me Angel on Spotify from a similar day 1 number. His sales may be stronger, looks like a top 15 debut is guaranteed and if it can level off top 10 is possible.

It doesn't really have anything to do with how often he's appeared on songs, as evident from the massive debut. The problem is the song is very, very mediocre and has nothing in the way of a catchy hook or melody. It sounds like an average album track, not a lead single. If Travis actually tried, I think he could get a smash easily, but Highest in the Room is not indicative of any of his strong suits and the performance is pretty much reflecting that.

violentdreams yeah, it's definitely not lead single material. I said that from the very beginning. The deeper we go into the streaming era, the less impressed I am by peaks and the more I'm interested in seeing the longevity a song/album has. I still wonder why Travis chose that particular song to push as a single. He should have better songs in the vault.

Fans have been wanting him to put HITR on streaming services since it started performing it on tour. I think they went all out because it was so hyped, but the final version was kind of underwhelming.
I still think the Lil Baby verse will come out with a remix later on.

Is there any chance of Someone you loved being number 2 this week ? And being number one the next week ? (if Adele don't drop any single)

Someone You Loved is ahead of Senorita in every metric other than Radio, so it will be number 2 soon. Number one looks unlikely, I can’t imagine there won’t be another big debut before it overtakes Truth Hurts.

I predict HITR will have moderate longevity if it holds up on spotify and gets a remix, like 20-25 week run, but if it falls, it could have a This Is America type run

I personally think Someone You Loved will eventually reach #1 once it passes Truth Hurts on radio, but probably only for a week or two.
