Even if Adele doesn't release tomorrow (I'm sure she won't but anything can happen), I hope she releases soon, I miss her.

Retro Hot 100: 34 Years Ago Some great songs here like Part-Time Lover, Take On Me, Money For Nothing and You Belong To The City. Classic chart right here! Love Election Day. I actually like this more than most of Duran Duran songs. Great chart Bill. How do you do such an amazing job of this each time? Please keep this up, thank you for these every week!

Someone hacked Demi Lovato's Snapchat and leaked her nudes. What a gross invasion of privacy. I really hope she doesn't hurt herself.

^ Wow that's really vicious of them, I hope she doesn't either.
About the '80s charts and RIAA certifications, I think especially the late '80s was a time of very poor single sales, in part I guess because album sales were really starting to take over and move big numbers. That's interesting that Saving All My Love for You was re-certified platinum. I guess they seem to be combining older physical certifications with newer digital and streaming numbers, because if you go to the RIAA site they're all listed under the same entry: for example, I Will Always Love You is at 8x platinum, and I Wanna Dance with Somebody is at 3x platinum. I had always assumed they separated digital and physical.

Looks like next week is gonna be exactly the same as this week except with more new songs falling in positions. Boring.

Senorita is losing too much, SLY will be #2 on Hot 100 this week 99%. I didn't realise how much seΓ±orita had fallen off on streaming also until I looked at Spotify just now. It's below old hits like Suge and bad guy. Thought it would have more longevity than it has. Don't know how it peaked earlier on radio than Truth Hurts either.

Senorita was the only song in the top 10 on Digital, Streaming and Radio chart last week, 16 weeks in the top 5 (Havana was 17 weeks) and generally it's a summer song...I thought this would be over by the end of the summer.

I was told that Ms. Adele Adkins would release her lead single Friday 18th October?
Well, it looks like thatβs not happening, even though some users were adamant it would.
Interesting.

With 7 Years, Say You Won't Let Go and Someone You Loved, I wonder which European one hit wonder will go down as having the worst ballad of the 2010s

I'll say 7 Years, without a shout of a doubt. That song is next level garbage for me, imo. Say You Won't Let Go & Someone You Loved aren't that bad to me.

With 7 Years, Say You Won't Let Go and Someone You Loved, I wonder which European one hit wonder will go down as having the worst ballad of the 2010s I wouldnβt really count Lukas Graham as a one hit wonder (sadly) but the definition is so skewed here. Lewisβs other stuff wouldβve charted already so heβs probably doomed to one hit wonder status. I would throw James Blake and James Bay in there due to them being so forgettable I confused them with James Arthur. Anyway, I hope that Trampoline rebounds.

The tune is worse, the writing is the most basic and the performance is by far the worst. The other 2 were overhated in my opinion.

I know all three have had at several other Top 40 hits back in the UK but those songs never cracked the Hot 100, with the exception of Love Someone last year, and even then it was only a modest hit, I don't think it even made it past the Top 75. Also I totally forgot about James Bay but yeah, you can throw 'Let It Go' in with other terrible adult alternative hits of the decade.
