Week 7: March 27, 2020Carrie Underwood isn't done drinking yet! "Drinking Alone" scores a second week at #1! Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert pulls the plug on her former 4-week chart-topper "Bluebird," nosediving from #2 clear to the bottom of the chart. This allows Ashley McBryde to make it to #2, re-peaking on the chart; Miranda's drop also allows for a slight bit of change in the Top 10, with Dua Lipa and Kelsea Ballerini entering with "Physical" and "homecoming queen?" respectively. Another notable climb: Maddie & Tae reach the Top 5 with their hit "Die From A Broken Heart." The greatest gainer is Normani; "Motivation" jumps 7 spots this week from #25 to #18. Some notable entries: former child star turned Voice Season 10 winner Alisan Porter, Doja Cat, and Madison Beer all debut on the chart with "Never Could," "Say So," and "Selfish," respectively. Falling off this week: "Watermelon Sugar" by Harry Styles (PK: #9 WKS: 6), "Somebody Like That" by Tenille Arts (PK: #7 WKS: 6), "She Ain't Me" by Sophia Scott (PK: #19 WKS: 6), and "Yikes" by Nicki Minaj (PK: #27 WKS: 6) Let me know if you'd like to be tagged! Video edition should be coming Sunday! 2-40 ”Dive Bar” teas Except the only reason "Bluebird" fell out so quickly is that perhaps she does or doesn't have "single #3" coming It did really burn on me tho not gonna lie. Still one of her best!

Week 8: April 3, 2020Dua Lipa is the latest artist to hit #1 as "Physical" climbs seven spots from #8 in the wake of the release of Future Nostalgia, aka the Album of the Decade. This knocks Carrie Underwood clear down to #12 after spending two weeks at the top with "Drinking Alone." This also makes Dua Lipa the Greatest Gainer of the week, a distinction SHARED with Doja Cat, whose "Say So" jumps from #38 to #31! Maddie & Tae see a nice move, climbing three spots to #2. Cam stays put at #3 while Ashley McBryde and Taylor Swift see losses, falling down from where they were last week. It seems Halsey is riding a second wind as she climbs up to #6. After previously peaking at #5, will she finally get to crack that coveted top spot? After a few weeks plateauing in the 11-15 range, Gabby Barrett finally sees herself rounding out the Top 10 list. Video edition should be coming Sunday! Let me know if you'd like to be tagged! <3 TW | LW | PK | WKS | Song | Artist | 1 | 8 | 1 | 8 | "Physical" 1 WEEK AT #1 GREATEST GAINER | Dua Lipa | 2 | 5 | 2 | 8 | "Die From A Broken Heart" | Maddie & Tae | 3 | 3 | 3 | 7 | "Till There's Nothing Left" | Cam | 4 | 2 | 2 | 8 | "One Night Standards" | Ashley McBryde | 5 | 4 | 4 | 8 | "The Man" | Taylor Swift | 6 | 7 | 3 | 8 | "You should be sad" | Halsey | 7 | 10 | 7 | 8 | "homecoming queen?" | Kelsea Ballerini | 8 | 9 | 8 | 8 | "Sugar Coat" | Little Big Town | 9 | 6 | 6 | 8 | "Only The Young" | Taylor Swift | 10 | 11 | 10 | 8 | "Hall Of Fame" | Gabby Barrett | 11 | 12 | 7 | 8 | "How I Look On You" | Ariana Grande | 12 | 1 | 1 | 8 | "Drinking Alone" 2 WEEKS AT #1 | Carrie Underwood | 13 | 13 | 13 | 8 | "God Only Knows" | for KING & COUNTRY ft. ATTENTION: ANNOUNCING A NEW FORMAT!!!We're shaking things up big-time!! We're going from a Top 40 that's more like an airplay type of chart to a Hot 50 that's more like a Hot 100 kind of chart, meaning more roller-coaster rides for lots of songs. The past 9 weeks still count however, so the Week 10 chart may or may not look dramatically different this Friday! HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: 1. This chart now operates as a free-for-all Hot 100 kind of chart. Roller-coaster rides may or may not happen; and I have increased the number of positions from 40 to 50.
2. Album bombs are now a thing--in fact, there are two album bombs this week! An album track can stay on the chart until it falls off. At that point, it's not allowed back until it has officially become a single or I treat it as a single.
3. Certifications are now a thing!! I'm going to figure out a way to implement that and will update song/album certifications probably with the April 24 chart.
4. I will have a Top 5 artist/album chart coming along with each week's chart. This will likely either be edited into this week's chart or begin with the April 24 chart.
5. Recurrency is still not a thing here lol
(a huge thank you to miss lady𝓐fan for giving me an aesthetic picture to go with the rebrand! i came to him with the picture and asked if he could give it some Cry Pretty era realness and he didn't disappoint! again thank you sis!)

Week 10: April 17, 2020Girl, when I said we were shaking things up, I wasn't kidding!!! Maddie & Tae and Kelsea Ballerini both benefit from their recent album releases, as they account for TWO album bombs on this week's chart, causing a number of songs to take a nosedive. The largest such drop is "To Die For" which sees Sam Smith plummet from #14 clear down to the bottom of the chart. Kelsea's was the bigger album bomb of the two, charting numerous songs in the top 30, while Maddie & Tae nearly book-end the chart. "Die From A Broken Heart" surges to the summit, while "Everywhere I'm Goin'" clocks in at #49. The duo also see themselves at #6 with "Bathroom Floor". Kelsea sees herself at #2 with "homecoming queen?," causing Ashley McBryde and Cam to stick to #3 and #4, respectively. With the help of Kelsea, Halsey sees herself twice in the top 10: "the other girl" debuts at #5, while "You should be sad" drops to #9. Reba McEntire and Little Big Town survive the invasion of the Top 10, with "The Bar's Getting Lower" climbing to #7 and "Sugar Coat" staying wrapped around the #8 position. The future of the video edition is already in limbo, lol. We'll see what happens with that. I'll be fine-tuning this new format as the next few weeks go on, let me know what you think! Also let me know if you'd like to be tagged! <3 The Hot 50 03 01 Maddie & Tae - Die From A Broken Heart (Peak: 1 week at #1) (Weeks: 10) 05 02 Kelsea Ballerini - homecoming queen? Week 11: April 24, 2020Kelsea Ballerini finally takes a hold of the #1 spot as "homecoming queen?" takes the space previously occupied by Maddie & Tae's "Die From A Broken Heart," which falls to #2. Ashley McBryde spends another week at #3, while Reba McEntire surges to #4. Cam falls from #4-#11 with "Till There's Nothing Left," which is not only the first double-digit showing for this song, but also the first time the song has spent time outside of the Top 10 in its entire run, as it debuted at #9 and continued to be a Top 5 mainstay. The current Top 5 is rounded out with "Bathroom Floor" by Maddie & Tae, while "Sugar Coat" sees Little Big Town rise up two spots from #8-#6. Thanks to the album bombs from last week being ineffective this week, we see a bottom 10 full of debuts and one re-entry. Let me know if you'd like to be tagged or not and let me know what you think! <3 The Hot 5002 01 Kelsea Ballerini - homecoming queen? Week 12: May 1, 2020Ashley McBryde finally takes the top spot this week with her hit "One Night Standards" as both "homecoming queen?" by Kelsea Ballerini and "Die From A Broken Heart" by Maddie & Tae both take a nosedive, both plummeting to the very bottom of the chart. ("Dive Bar" teas, I know). With both songs gone, Reba McEntire takes advantage of the vacancies by climbing to #2 with "The Bar's Getting Lower" while Little Big Town enter the Top 5 with "Sugar Coat." The Dixie Chicks take the #10 position with "Gaslighter" while for KING & COUNTRY and Dolly Parton climb to #7 with "God Only Knows," Halsey climbs four spots and reaches a new peak of #4 with "You should be sad," and Cam re-enters the Top 5, jumping from #11 to #3. You will notice that Demi Lovato is nowhere to be found. That's because she's been blacklisted by this station. We do not condone the usage of a separate social media--or any social media account--to hate on other artists/people. Week 13 chart (today's chart) coming later! Let me know if you'd like to be tagged! <3 The Hot 5002 01 Ashley McBryde - One Night Standards (Peak: 1 week at #1) (Weeks: 12) 04 02 Reba McEntire - The Bar's Getting Lower (Peak: 2) (Weeks: 12) 11 03 Cam - Till There's Nothing Left (Peak: 3) (Weeks: 11) 08 04 Halsey - You should be sad (Peak: 4) (Weeks: 12) 06 05 Little Big Town - Sugar Coat (Peak: 5) (Weeks: 12) 09 06 Normani - Motivation (Peak: 6) (Weeks: 11) 10 07 for KING & COUNTRY ft. Week 13: May 8, 2020Surprise!!! I'm actually posting a chart!!! Ashley McBryde holds on to the #1 position for a second week of "One Night Standards" with my airplay while Reba McEntire's bar hasn't gotten lower, as she stays perched with #2 with "The Bar's Getting Lower." Normani enters the Top 5 with "Motivation." The Top 10 sees three new entries in the forms of Lady Gaga's "Stupid Love," Panic! At The Disco's "One of the Drunks," and the Blake Shelton/Gwen Stefani duet "Nobody But You." The chart remains a bit clogged this week, with no new entries to be found due to older songs coming back and/or refusing to leave.
