Wut? That's the first song from the 90's to fall? "Right On The Money" is a total jam. Pulse really doesn't like Alan's whimsical songs, even the actually clever ones. Good catch! It is indeed the first song of Alan's to exit that's from his 90's discography. I've always liked this song more than most on here myself, but I do remember it not performing that well in the 1999 YE Rankdown so I wasn't all too surprised to see it underperform here as well.

I'm going to go ahead and stop there for today, but I'll pick right back up tomorrow and might even get us into the top 40 by tomorrow night. Y'all have a great weekend!

Oh wow--I'm rather shocked "Where I Come From" didn't do a little better here as it is one of his biggest hits. That said, I'm not too upset seeing it leave here.

"Where I Come From" is straight ass. What an awful, corny, obnoxious tune. Some of the dumbest lyrics ever. ![:dead:](http://ruadventures.com/forum/Smileys/animated/smiley_resurrect_grave.gif) Wow austin a #1 for "Right on the Money" is so random. I thought I was gonna be the first to lose mine, lmao.

We've officially made it the weekend y'all! I'm going to do one quick reveal as the first song to leave the top 50 means that another one of Alan's studio albums will exit along with it (surprisingly no one guessed this as being one of the first ones out). I'll be back later this afternoon/evening to reveal the next four songs.

Stats for #50:
The first song to exit the top 50 means that another one of Alan's studio albums will be leaving the rankdown as well. This comes in as the 11th most polarizing song as it picked up six bottom 10 rankings as well as one bottom 5. Unfortunately someone also becomes the second participant to lose a top 5.

I forgot to mention that this is a guilty pleasure of mine and makes for a great song to put on when out road tripping...and you'll still find me jamming out to it whenever it comes on the radio.

If I had listened to the lyrics, I'd have likely put this in dead last for that line alone. Really offensive imo

The last-minute rush of higher ranks for "A Woman's Love" lol
There's something really pleasant about the melody of "A Woman's Love", the more I listened to it the more I liked it. Good thing it didn't finish near #60 like it was looking like it would before the last 4 lists.

I'm finally done with my exams so now I can take the time and comment on the two songs that were eliminated way to early 😃
I had no idea I Still Like Bologna is so hated around here. I know this song is not groundbreaking in any way but I like just about everything about it - melody is nice, Alan sounds good and instumentation is as expected in Alan's song. And even lyrics are close to me - not literally (I don't have any special love for white bread and bologna - I remember when I first read the title and I told he will sing about the town in Italy or something because I had no idea bologna is spealed like that) but I do sometimes still eat ceartain type of food that is originally made for kids (it's called čokolino and I don't think this is even a thing in US) even though I know it's not particulary healthy and as an responsible adult I should know better than eating chocholate sugar with milk. And the non-title lyrics are also good - I think he nicely captured that traditional and modern stuff can work together just fine - I mean I like my big tv with 500 channels (480 useless ones but who cares) but I also like walking in the woods listening to birds (or to music on my phone).
Why is A Woman's Love out already?? This is Alan at his finest. A truly gorgeous, romantic song, written by him and performed so tendery that it's evident that he knows what he's singing about. I can listen to this song over and over again and never get tired of it - it's simply perfect.

While it probably wasn't the best choice as a radio single I've always personally loved this song. That said, I also found this one incredibly hard to rank and was even disappointed in myself for not putting it into my own top 30.
