Kelly's personality is second to none. She's such a gift to this crazy world. You just can't help but smile when she's delightful, and laugh when she's goofy. A world without Kelly would be rather lame. Anywho, I'm so looking forward to more cover songs being uploaded to the show's YouTube now that the new season has started. It has been such a joy to listen to her voice during my lunch breaks, so I'm looking forward to more of that. Bring it on sister! Also, hearing that she wrote a ton for her new album gets me giddy. I hope that she continues to write her own songs for future albums. When she writes her songs they just hit in a different way. I just love the way she writes her lyrics and the way that they can really pull you in. She's so talented. One thing is for sure, I better stock up on boxes of Kleenex cause once her album drops next year I know she is gonna make me cry. I'm so ready for it, though. A personal album written mostly by her, yeah, it's gonna be epic.

Opening was cute and maybe I am reading too much into it but Kelly seems to lack some of the spark she's recently had (as many of us are). Hope she's ok! I'd chalk that up to not having an in-studio audience. Kelly is a people person who feeds off the energy of crowds. Virtual audiences just aren't the same. I thought it was a solid opening. Definitely cheered me up. |

The upbeat positive attitude energy in that song gives me life without it feeling overdone like how it does on Whole Lotta Woman at times

She seemed fine to me? I didn't really notice a huge difference tbh.
"Good as Hell" was good once it got going vocally. And you know damn well and sure it was not that one white lady on backgrounds lmao.

That might be the first cover I can say I dislike. Nothing wrong with her voice, it just didn’t seem a fit for her. I’m being extremely harsh here because she CAN sing anything but I think this was a swing and a miss on song choice.

Her voice is canvass everytime I listen to her I always think I wonder how she sound singing this genre or this person songs. So many skinny throat pop songs that if Kelly sing it I know would sound amazing. Like Katy Perry "Unconditional"
