Kinda expected these to be eliminated soon anyway. Imo Hardy's writing in Waste Of A Whiskey Drink is not as immature as some may say. If that's what it's take to get his album released then I think it can work. I Got A Truck got a nice twist of story in second verse. The instrumental solo is also nice. body language of a breakup got a slightly more special idea I guess. Canadians really excels in catchiness (see also Carly Rae Jepsen).

I fully expected to hate the Devin Dawson song, but it was actually pretty good. Really enjoyed it sonically, and the guitar work was really good (reminded me a ton of Charlie Worsham).
Kind of shocked that lindsay ell missed the top 10 as much as she's loved by Pulse. "Body Language of a Breakup" is a fairly deep song, so it's a bit of a grower, but i really ended up liking it. It's grown on me more with each listen, and I would probably have it inside my top 10 if I redid my list. Really, really strong lyrics. I hope it becomes a single at some point.

12. "I Got A Truck" - Devin DawsonSHOOTER - 1 Taste! I initially had this as my top ranking song as well but ended up pushing it back one spot to make room for another song. Either way, my top two really is interchangeable as I've loved this song since I first heard it. Also, I volunteer as tribute to have Devin's babies. 11. "body language of a breakup" - Lindsay Ellbboat11 - 1 . . . . tim - 19 Oh, no wonder bboat11 took me to the woodshed for my ranking of this one. As I told him, though, I liked or loved everything except my last place song and while I did put this in my bottom two that isn't to mean that I think it's a bad song. I know Lindsay has quite a few fans here on Pulse so I'm not surprised that it performed quite well. This just happened to be one of the few songs in the list that I didn't really want to come back around to hear again and therefore I put them closer to the bottom of my list. And I'm still quite shocked that Chris Stapleton has managed to make it into the top ten! I can see him being one of the first songs out, though, as he's sure to have racked up a handful of bottom three's. Other songs to exit within the top ten will likely include "Crazyland" by Eric, Tim's "7500 OBO", and "Forged in the Fire" by Caylee. I'm not feeling confident enough to guess the last song to miss the top five, but I could see it maybe being "You Don't See to Miss Me" or "Classic".

This is a very good list of songs considering Iâve ranked some in the bottom half that I think are genuinely good. Should be a fun race to the finish.
I think Parker is unfortunately one of the next to go. Unsure of how Morgan Wallen will do. I know Twitter, TikTok and women I went to college with love him, but does Pulse?

"More Than My Hometown," "Chasing You,' and "7 Summers" were all received in their respective threads very warmly from what I recall.

I love âCrazylandâ!
Eric is one of my very favorites in the entire genre so he rarely ever disappoints for me. Glad this made the top 10.

Don't let my bottom 2 for "Starting Over" fool you; I do actually enjoy this song somewhat! It's just a really strong list, and I found the melody to be a little bit more on the bland side of this list. Still will probably be in my top half for a year-end rankdown, whether it's in 2020 or 2021!

With how long chart runs are a lot of songs tend to bleed into other years pretty easily (Top 3 singles from Travis Denning, Maddie & Tae, and LoCash this year being big examples of this.

"Classic" is alright, but it is a veeeeery average song to me. I find the arrangement to be kinda annoying, and nothing about the melody really sticks with me after the song ends. I'm sure we have much better things to look forward to from Cam with her new album coming soon though!!!! We can assume she'll be a big threat in the future, considering she's already made the top 2 a couple months ago with "Redwood Tree"!

It was only logical for Caylee's name to be thrown around as a potential winner, considering that in the short history of these rankdowns she has dominated harder than probably any other artist! "Small Town Hypocrite" won the May rankdown with no competition whatsoever, while "Redhead" glided smoothly to victory last month in the July rankdown. So "Forged in the Fire" becomes her first song to participate in one of these and not win!
Now that her new album has come out, we may not hear from her for awhile... But then again, she has been known to release random one-offs like her duet cover of "Lord I Hope This Day Is Good" with Alan Jackson that came out right about the same time as her album! So she might surprise us. Whatever happens, I'm sure we can look forward to her continuing to slay in these things in the future!

I can't be upset to see "You Don't Seem To Miss Me" out here, honestly this song has worn on me fast because it doesn't compare to Patty & George' version but I still love it. Happy it made it this far I think this has to be the first multi-artist Country rankdown to have only 1 female artist in the top 5, can you confirm bboat11?? Regardless I hope that Morgan Wallen and Tim McGraw are the first two out and the other 3 are the Top 3 because I love those 3 a lot, I'd be happy with any of those 3 being #1 (watch the other 2 be the top 2 lol)

Once again, Josh Turner just baaaaaaaarrely misses the top 5!!! "Country State Of Mind" made it to #6 in the June rankdown, and came close once again with "I'm No Stranger To The Rain" finishing at #8 last month. The shittiest part? He lost a tie to Randall King's "Hey Cowgirl" in June, which kept him out of the top 5... And this month he misses out on the top 5 thanks to once again losing a tie with our #5 song "You Don't Seem To Miss Me" has always been one of my least favorite hits from Patty Loveless' huge years, but I included it at castleoblivion26's request... Josh and Runaway June do the song a lot of justice though!! It would have been nice to see it in the top 5... As you can see from the trajectory graph, it was a top 5 contender for pretty much the entire submission process

I can't speak for EVERY multi-artist country rankdown off the top of my head, but I would honestly be willing to bet that you are correct about this being the first multi-artist rankdown to only have one female in the top 5!! What an interesting milestone!

So I mentioned that Josh Turner loses a tie with our #5 song... The reason our #5 song won the tie is because it was actually our biggest #1 contender of the entire rankdown!!!! Are you ready to see what was pretty much guaranteed to win, until it stumbled almost out of the top 5 with our last few lists??

As you can see from the trajectory graph, "Skeletons" was a commanding force in this rankdown! It picked up the lead early on, and started running as fast as it could towards the finish line while the rest of the songs all kinda sat around picking their noses. It seemed like a pretty sure bet to win this thing as everybody except four people put it in their top 10...however those four people who put it in their bottom 2 ultimately did a lot of damage.
This song has a killer arrangement and very classic Brothers Osborne melody. It will be interesting to see if this song can unseat the lead single "All Night" when we eventually rank their new album!

I still have not been able to comprehend the extreme love that Morgan Wallen has been receiving lately... Everything I have ever heard from him has been extremely average to me. I have even done the rankdown for his debut, and it is about the blandest album we have ever ranked. He is literally the modern and less exciting equivalent of Florida Georgia Line/Jason Aldean/Luke Bryan That being said, "7 Summers" is alright. I enjoy hearing on the radio well enough. It'll be interesting to see how he does in these things in the future, 'cause "More Than My Hometown" finished at #8 and now this one at #4. He has potential to keep doing pretty well!
