"Piece Of My Heart" is one of the most iconic female songs of the '90s Personally I love Faith's WAY more than the original. She manages to turn this into a perfect country shuffle, with absolutely delicious instrumentation. I know this one is pretty polarizing on Pulse for some reason, so I was quite impressed to see it be a top 10 contender for the majority of the submission process! It was a top 15 contender for the entire rankdown except for the first list and the last list Thanks Flops.

I had a bit of a hard time ranking this song myself especially amongst so many classics so it ended falling outside of my top 15 for that reason. I could've just as easily put this in my top ten, but I do try and approach these rankdowns without any particular bias.

Now that we have said goodbye to our final Faith Hill song, let's honor the bonus song that features her! "Sleeping With The Telephone" is the ONLY song of this entire eligibility period to have finished at #2 in two different rankdowns. This song was a hot competitor in Faith's Extras rankdown, only to barely fail to overcome the huge hit "There You'll Be", and followed it up with another exceptional performance in Reba's modern album tracks rankdown, only to come up short against fan favorite "Maggie Creek Road". Ultimately it was not eligible to be included though because this song WON Reba's Duets album rankdown, meaning it was in our BotB Part III rankdown already
Bonus: "Sleeping With The Telephone" - Reba McEntire ft. Faith Hill
Finished at #2 in the: -Faith Hill: Extras rankdown (Host: bboat11) -Reba McEntire: Album Tracks of the '00s/'10s rankdown (Host: bboat11)

"Mayberry" is one of Rascal Flatts' best singles I admit I don't listen to it much anymore because it was just SO overplayed through the years, but it is still objectively a very good song! That's why even austin and LBTrocks both actively put it in their top half despite hating Rascal Flatts more than they hate actual terrible artists like FGL and Jason Aldean! dgarcia3377 finally loses his last place tho That means nobody has a last place remaining.

"Mayberry" definitely overstayed. I remember when the album first came out it was one of my least favorite songs on the album. It has since grown on me but considering the calibur of songs here this song has no business in the top 40, never mind the Top 15!

"Mayberry" is such an infectious ear worm of a song that I just can't help but not like. It did end up staying much longer in the rankdown than I would've expected it to, though.

Unfortunately Queen Reba was not quite able to hang on long enough to get all of her songs in the top 10 like she did with BotB. She came close though!! "It's Your Call" was a top 10 contender for almost the entire rankdown until the very end! Of course our resident Reba Hater, LBTrocks , almost pushed it clear out of the top 15 at the last second

Y'all thought Luke Combs would be the highest-placing male artist this go around just like he was in BotB, but that is decidedly not the case!! Tim McGraw and Brothers Osborne both have songs remaining "She Got The Best Of Me" is a great song (for modern country), but still I have trouble comparing it to all-time classics from the '90s and '00s. I think that's why I continue to be the lowest ranker for him in these things despite genuinely enjoying the songs

LMAO!!!! I deserved that! "It's Your Call" is certainly on the more bland side of her huge hits imo. I still love it, but in a list of great songs like this a loooooot of songs snuck ahead of her as I was making my list... Still, Flops has been up in here talking about how "You Lie" of all things is a tuneless mess and singlehandedly tanking it out of the top 3... I can say whatever I want

I continue to be surprised by how much Pulse loves this particular LeAnn Rimes song! I literally never even think of "Nothin' Better To Do" when I think of her all time bests, but it managed to pull off a surprise #2 finish in her artist rd, and follow it up with a near top 10 placement in this super competitive rankdown! I do like this song a lot though, so it is nice to see it continue to be a bit of an unpredictable wildcard in these rankdowns!

Ew at "Why Not Me" missing the top 10 This song was an early #1 contender, held on to be a top 10 contender for literally the entire rest of the rankdown, until the last couple lists Although it didn't really accumulate a ton of super low ranks! It kinda just got a couple too many lower-middle ranks which caused it to be edged out of the top 10. That is a hallmark of just how strong and competitive this upper region of this rankdown truly is, imo! I love everything about this song. Wynonna and Naomi sound great, and the chorus is pure ear candy. I also love Sara Evans' cover of it from last year

Glad that garbled mess "Nothin' Better To Do" is finally out. LeAnn put out some good music in the mid-00's, but that song was the beginning of her downfall. I've heard the song many times, and I still can barely make out what the hell she's singing.

I've already made my thoughts on this next bonus song finishing at #2 QUITE clear It has won every rankdown it has ever been a part of, including one of the hardest and strongest artist rankdowns we have ever done, its album rankdown (of course), and even our 3rd Best of the Best rankdown, which is like the highest competition rankdown that a song could possibly win! Only to get cheated out of a nearly 100-point victory in its year-end rankdown by one individual poster who shall not be named....
It deserves a mention here because it did finish at #2, but was of course not eligible to be included because of how many rankdowns it has won up to this point :)
Bonus: "A Little Bit Stronger" - Sara Evans
Finished at #2 in the: 2011 Country Rankdown (Host: sabre14)
