I don't buy that. I can compare TROLLZ's performance to the Bigger Picture's performance. One had a lot of hype before it's release, has Nicki Minaj on it and has the force of two fanbases behind it. The other is a song about racial injustice and got released with no hype. The song that's meant to be performing better is TROLLZ, hands down, but that's not the case. 6ix9ine will always do well on YouTube, but playlist placement or not, there's no Nicki or 6ix9ine fan who didn't know about the song dropping. Even the casual probably listener knows about the song. It trended on Twitter before and after it's release. Nicki and 6ix9ine posted about the song several times on their social media accounts before and after it dropped. Also, the people checking out the video know it's also available on other platforms to stream, but they don't seem to be interested in doing that. maybe people prefer to watch his music than listen to it. and ok, let's say he's underperforming on Spotify and AM, but the sales and YT numbers are better than GOOBA's (so far). Unfortunately, he'll probably debut at #1. I agree. He might be more of a visual artist. His videos always do well on YouTube. I think fans will go hard enough for the song to still manage to debut at #1. That second week fall though 🌚 |

Rockstar did nearly 2M Spotify streams when combined with the BLM remix. Also, the remix is #50 on AM.Woah. 22 hours ago it was #645. It should rise to the top 20 eventually. |

Interesting that the BLM remix has caused the original version of Rockstar to take a big hit and only gave a slight increase overall on Spotify.
Edit: Actually let me correct myself, that's a 400k stream increase overall compared to yesterday.

YouTube is the weakest form of Streaming and who knows how many filtered streams actually count for the U.S.
The song already has massive red updates on iTunes.

I forgot to look at the updated top 40 radio callouts yesterday. Toosie Slide has the lowest net positive, probably as bad as what Stupid Love got at some point. Savage is tied for second worse net positive which will limit how much more its overall audience will be able to grow. Break My Heart has the best net score, barely edging Blinding Lights.

this just confirms my theory that no functioning adult actually listens to 6ix9ine, it's mostly kids who don't even have a Spotify account for themselves. :kii:
I'm kidding, but it's deplorable that the song that got 50M views in a day on YouTube couldn't crack the top 20 on Spotify Global, it got as many streams as ROSALÍA's "TKN" basically.

Its quite strange how pop radio callouts have been fluctuating for some songs the last few weeks, isnt it? The bones, In your Eyes, Level of Concern, now Savage and Break my heart... they have to be doing something wrong, or not being objective

^Well. As with everything in life, opinions vary from time to time. Blinding Lights, while still has pretty good scores, had much better scores a few weeks ago. So, naturally, it seems that more songs get played on radio, eventually people start tired of listening to it and move on to the next best thing for them.

All 6ix9ine needed to do was release Trollz as his first single out of jail and bam... easy number one. Massive YouTube and sales from the Nicki effect and probably on demand streaming to at least match gooba from all the out-of-jail hype.

As far as Spotify Debut, the Billboard post said it all... alot of people went straight to Youtube. I see the song staying stable on Spotify, but we'll see. If 69 had some way of cheating youtube, couldn't he just do it on Spotify. His videos have always done great... that part is nothing new to me. |

I dislike 69 and the song, but #4 on AM isn’t ‘underperforming’. How long did it take for “GOOBA” to hit #1, or the top three on AM? Stan Groups are crazy... There are a few groups streaming Rock Star and The Bigger Picture just to block Trollz. |

The entire era does actually. Unless he comes up with a remix to one of these songs or releases a completely new song, I doubt anything else will go top 10. |

Neither was Girl’s Like You for Cardi, or I Like It where she’s barely on half of the song. #TROLLZ4Number1 #QUEEN Cardi B is the lead artist on “I Like It” (which followed the number one solo smash hit “Bodak Yellow”), similar to how Doja Cat is the lead artist on “Say So” and Meghan Thee Stallion is the lead artist on “Savage/Remix”. Not everybody has that. As for “Girls Like You”, they certainly didn’t score their biggest Hot 100 crossover-hit since “Sugar”, at the time, on their own merit so... Isn’t girls like you like maroon 5’s biggest hit now |
