Skyward four points is #35. Only one Bottom 10 was lost and no Top 10s are gone, so it’s safe to say that this song was decently liked by almost all of us. It was in the Top 20 early on. This also has the third lowest SD.

Even Starbenders’ holy mother couldn’t help them to finish in the Top 30. I enjoyed their new album with a mixture of garage rock, glam rock, and punk sounds.

I very much underranked this song now that I’ve gotten a chance to listen to it again prior to writing this reveal. This should have been in my top half for sure. Melkbelly reminds me a lot of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and I really like the drumming on this track.

To end today’s reveals, #31 finishes nine points above Clone Culture. This is a big one as we lose two Bottom 5s and a Top 10. This also has the third highest SD.
Since tomorrow begins another busy as hell work week for me, I’m hoping to reveal #21-30 on Saturday.

Emery ain’t good enough for this town as they get kicked out at #31. This is a band that I’ve been a fan of for almost 15 years as I first discovered their song “Studying Politics” on some Alt playlists in the mid-00’s. Their pleasant vocals and darker post-hardcore / alt-rock / emo sound fits together so damn well.

sorry I haven't been posting, I heard these songs so long ago and none of the tracks revealed in the bottom 20 do I remember much about tbh lol No worries. I'm going to be completely honest. I've had to re-listen to every song before I write each reveal because I don't remember how 3/4 of these songs went either. I mostly just remember my opinion of each artist's album as a whole and what they vaguely sound like. That's not a good thing from the host's perspective lol. I've learned my lesson for any future rankdowns not to choose a list of mostly newer artists that almost everyone doesn't know "yet." I doubt anyone was itching for a 2020 Quarter 3 Rankdown, but yeah... that's not happening.

Sorry for the delay. I was busy all weekend, but worked on #21-30 late last night. I’m revealing while I’m working on actual work, so this shall be interesting haha.
Let’s start off the Top 30 with a rise of two points over Emery. Two Bottom 10s are eliminated and unfortunately one Top 10. This one could have certainly finished in the Bottom 10 depending on more or less participants.

Born Ruffians aren’t falling in love tonight as they go out first in the Top 30.
I see them as a band on the rise as I’ve been hearing about them more often as of late. They have a laid back Indie Rock sound that I think we all need in this uptight time. They actually came out with another album on October 2nd that I haven’t heard yet.

My hometown boys in NFG go out later than I had expected at #28. I’m happy that if not for Daryl tanking it at the end that it had the chance to finish in the Top 20. It’s cool though.
They returned to their old school faster and “heavier” roots with this new album. Something that most fans had wanted for quite awhile.

For some reason I just couldn’t get into Shelf Life. I wouldn’t really say it’s bad but I just wasn’t able to get into it.
Himalaya was pretty cool, I loved that it reminded me of like 2000s music. Also really enjoyed We All Get A Raise.
The Mall and Under The Wires were fine, don’t have too much to say about them.
