• Ultraviolence: Love at first sight • Young and Beautiful: I actually always overlooked this one until I did Az Paynter ’s personal rankdown lol. After that, I’ve had the song on repeat for the entire summer. • Blue Jeans: I thought this will always be my favorite from Lana but it seemed to age a bit quicker than other classics. Still love it though. - It is probably my fav Lana video - Cedric remix is really cool. I am sure it will click with anyone at one point - Blue Jeans was also for a period my fav song by Lana ... then this remix was my favorite... now it is a bit lower than other Born to Die singles as for The Greatest - I am surprised by so many accolades. It is good on the album...but as a stand alone - not really - at least for me

Blue Jeans was my favorite Lana song for quite a while but I almost can't stand it now. I really thought Young & Beautiful would end up at #1 with how things were going so I'm relieved it's out already.

the nfr songs were robbed Though songs on Norman sound great as a whole I do not think that any song (except Mariners and Venice) can stand on their own I wrote somewhere... though NFR is the album I have been listening to the most in past 380 days since it is out If someone is to play me 20 sec of a song, I would not be able to say the title of the song. *** Somehow they are all similar and good as a whole... but as a stand alone they lose their appeal. *** except The next best american record as that song leaked 4 years ago and was my favorite/on repeat for months

#13 Norman f**king Rockwell! 267 pointsThe song was nominated for Song of the Year at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. In an interview with Zane Lowe of the BBC, Del Rey commented on her forthcoming album's title track: "Working with Jack Antonoff, I was in a little bit of a lighter mood because he was so funny. So the title track is called 'Norman f**king Rockwell' and it's kind of about this guy who is such a genius artist but he thinks he's the s**t and he knows it and he, like, won't shut up talking about it. The song was sent to UK Mainstream radios on November 1, 2019, as the sixth single from the album and it hit #44 on UK singles chart. Also, it peaked at #8 in New Zealand and #14 in Nederlands.

#11 West Coast 284 pointsThis is a surprise for me! I would have bet this would be top 3 or even #1. It is close to #10 in points, but...
Released as the lead single from the album on April 14, 2014, West Coast received positive reviews from music critics who commended its unconventional composition and Del Rey's uncharacteristic vocal delivery. Several news media sources went on to list it as one of the best songs of 2014, including Consequence of Sound, NME and Spin. "West Coast" debuted at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100, making this Del Rey's highest debut and third highest-charting single of her career, while also being her first single to enter the Rock Airplay chart where it reached number 26. The song marked Del Rey's eighth top 40 hit on the UK Singles Chart where it peaked at number 21. The song peaked at #3 on US Billboard AAA, #3 in Greece, #4 in Belgium, #5 in Izrael and #34 in France. In Canada it hit #26. And here we are... entering top 10!#10 Dark Paradise 286 pointsDark Paradise is a song recorded by Lana Del Rey for her debut studio album, Born to Die (2012). It was written by Lana Del Rey and Rick Nowels, while production was handled by Emile Haynie. Nowels and Devrim Karaoglu produced the radio mix of the song. The song was released on March 1, 2013, by Universal and Vertigo Records, as the sixth and final single from Born to Die. In an interview in June 2012, Del Rey said she would not release the song as a single but did plan to release a music video in September 2012. However, no music video was released, and on January 29, 2013, an official radio edit of Dark Paradise was serviced to German radio stations. On the same day, it was announced that the song would serve as the fifth single in Austria and Germany, and the sixth single in Switzerland. Out of all the fan favorite album cuts from Lana, "Dark Paradise" aged the worst for me.
I'm really vibing with the demo version of "National Anthem". She can pull off that pop rock sound. Very 2000s.

#6 Summertime Sadness 314 pointsSummertime Sadness is a song by Lana Del Rey from her second studio album, Born to Die (2012). The pop ballad was released on June 22, 2012 by Interscope Records as the fourth single of the album. Charting across Europe, the single reached the top ten in Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, and Switzerland. In the spring of 2013, Summertime Sadness reached number one in Poland, Ukraine and Armenia. Trap and house remixes of "Summertime Sadness" helped Del Rey break into the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart. That chart is where Del Rey's song became a modest hit and marked her first foray into the chart. On the accompanied Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, the single gave Del Rey her first US number-one single in August 2013. Earlier in 2012, the song also managed to become a rock hit in the US.
In the summer of 2013, a remixed version of the track by Cedric Gervais was released to American contemporary hit radio and helped the single become a sleeper hit, debuting at 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming the highest charting single of her career in that country with a peak of 6. Switzerland and Austria gave Summertime Sadness a gold certification; it reached platinum status in Germany and became a top 40 year-end hit. The record also reached number 4 in the UK Singles Chart. It joined BBC Radio 1's and BBC Radio 2's playlists. Gervais' remixed version won a 2014 Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical.

#5 Mariners Apartment Complex 317 pointsMariners Apartment Complex is a song by Lana Del Rey, released on September 12, 2018, through Polydor and Interscope Records, as the first single from her sixth studio album, Norman f**king Rockwell! (2019). The song was written and produced by Del Rey and Jack Antonoff, it marks the first collaboration between Del Rey and Antonoff. In an interview preceding the premiere, Del Rey stated:
"The song is about this time I took a walk late at night with a guy I was seeing, and we stopped in front his friend's apartment complex, and he put his hand around my shoulder, and he said "I think we are together because we're both similar, like we're both really messed up" and I thought it was the saddest thing I'd ever heard. And I said, "I'm not sad, I didn't know that's why you thought you were relating to me on that level, I'm actually doing pretty good". And he was upset, and that's when I wrote the song. I thought, I had to do so many times, where you know like I had to sort of step on that role where I was showing the way and I was sort of being the brighter light. But that's why it's so cool that you’re playing it. 'Cause I thought that I'd just put it out and it would be one of those things that I'd put out just to have there for myself, but it's cool being able to share it with people too."
The song peaked at #79 in UK, #35 in France, #13 on Billboard AAA and #27 on Billboard alternative airplay.

#4 Video Games 317 points (same points as #5 but more top 10 placements) Video Games is a song recorded by Lana Del Rey for her second studio album and major label debut, Born to Die (2012). It was first released to the Internet on June 29, 2011, was later released on her extended play, Lana Del Rey, and re-released as the lead single from her second studio album, Born to Die on October 7, 2011, through Interscope Records. The song was produced by Robopop while the lyrics were written by Del Rey and Justin Parker. Video Games is a baroque pop ballad that speaks of the protagonist who, despite being ignored by her significant other, resolves to love him regardless.
Video Games has received several accolades from critics since its release. The song has been considered Del Rey's "breakthrough hit" and was a commercial success, peaking at number one in Germany, Iceland and Luxembourg, reaching a top ten position in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and peaked at 91 on Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified Gold. The song's accompanying music video was directed and edited by Del Rey herself, combining scenes of her performing the song filmed on a webcam with clips of archive footage. The song won an Ivor Novello Award for "Best Contemporary Song" in 2012 and was nominated for several other awards shortly after release. In the Q Awards 2019, the song has been named as the song of the decade.
Video Games was also included in the book 1001 Songs You Must Hear Before You Die.

So glad I tanked all 3 of VB, MAC and VG. VB is an unlistenable mess of a song. I don't get what y'all hear in it that I don't. MAC is an inferior NFR so there was no need for its existence and VG is just okay in 2020.
I'm surprised to see Doin Time in the top 3. Finally some taste being shown.

Also... surprised big time (positively ) that Doin' time is not only in the top 5 but top 3 too.
