Going to try and catch up again before I get any further behind lol!
“Came Here to Forget” is the best single from If I’m Honest, however even that isn’t saying much as the entire era was kind of a letdown especially after Bringing Back the Sunshine which was solid overall. I probably underranked this one a tad bit as I put it just outside of my top 30, but it’s leaving just inside that seems about right.
“Sure Be Cool If You Did” is a song that I’ve grown to like more and more over time as I don’t remember enjoying it as much during its release. I still hear this on the radio from time to time and always end up finding myself singing along with it.
I’m not sure what side “All About Tonight” fell on in regards to polarization, but it most certainly suffered from overplay. I still think this one is kind of a jam and enjoy it just as much today as I did back when it was released…10 years go!
Glad to see “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking” make the top 25 because it’s always been one of my favorites from Blake. I was expecting this one to have some lower rankings though as I know its not everyones cup of tea, but I still think its great and one of his underrated hits on Pulse.
While “Drink On It” is another of Blake’s move overplayed hits from the Red River Blue era, it has a rather easy going melody that has always appealed to me. Looking back though I think I likely overranked this one as I should’ve definitely put a couple other songs ahead of this.
Speaking of overplayed, “God Gave Me You” certainly falls into that category as it still seems to be in moderate rotation with country radio across the board. There’s still something that draws me into this one though as I think the combination of the lyrics and production make it all come together for a good song. I couldn’t imagine anyone other than a song like this in the hands of Blake though as it works well for him.
Alright, well that at least gets me to everything before the top 20.

Guess I have a bit of more time to get fully caught up!
“I’ll Name the Dogs” is a cute song and as a dog lover myself I can certainly relate to this song. That said, it doesn’t have much replay value for me and isn’t really something I seek out on its own. I still quite enjoy hearing it on the radio though.
I was hoping “Sangria” would do a bit better than just squeaking into the top 20. This is such an earworm that works to Blake’s strengths as an artist as he has a canny way of making songs like this work which maybe wouldn’t for someone else. I just as easily could’ve put this in my top 5 but it was pretty much staked at this point.
Nothing really to add for “I’ll Just Hold On” other than that it seems to be one of his more forgotten hits. That’s probably because it came a couple of years before he became a host on The Voice in which his career really took off after that.
“Mine Would Be You” is another song that has grown on me more over the years and I find myself enjoying it now. I still hear this frequently on the radio and whereas I used to hit skip now I just sit back and enjoy it. Seems like its leaving at about the right spot either way.
I never thought I’d say this but I’m actually quite partial to Blake’s version of “Home” compared to the original by Michael Bublé. This song definitely hits me right in the feels as it takes me back to growing up in Nebraska and reminisce upon childhood memories. Every time I drive back home I usually end up putting this song on at least once.
And…I’m all caught up!

Anyone want to take a guess on what the order will be? Or what will fall short of the top 10... I'm going to take a guess that these will be the next five songs out with "Happy Anywhere" likely making it into the top 10 if only because it's benefited by the newish factor: "Playboys of the Southwestern World" "The More I Drink" "Goodbye Time" "Nobody But You" "I Lived It"

I do think the songs we both mentioned will all leave before any of the other songs we didn't

gonecountry, I tabulated 4 lists in the same day (the last 4 I received) and 3/4 had this song in the 30’s. This was looking to be a bit higher for a while. It was surprising to me too.

15. Goodbye Timepsmith1990 - 2 bboat11 - 2 castleoblivion26 - 6 Kanenrá:ke - 8 austin - 10 tim - 12 .indulgecountry - 13 George Strait Junkie - 15 lady𝓐fan - 19 kw9461 - 20 gonecountry - 24 LBTrocks - 27 SHOOTER - 34 someguy - 38 HeyHeyHey - 39 ClevelandRox - 39 TOTAL: 308 Kicking off our top 15 is "Goodbye Time". This song was originally recorded by Conway Twitty and was a top 10 hit for him in the 80's. In 2005, the tune made it onto 'Blake Shelton's Bar & Grill' and was released as the third single from that album. This song has a lot of fans - bboat11 & psmith1990 both lose a #2 here while five others lose a top 10. This one doesn't do a ton for me but at the same time I don't think it is a bad song by any means! --------------------------------------------------- SONGS REMAINING: BLAKE SHELTON"Austin" "Ol' Red" THE DREAMER"The Baby" "Playboys of the Southwestern World" BARN & GRILL"Some Beach" "Nobody But You" PURE BS"The More I Drink" STARTIN' FIRES"She Wouldn't Be Gone" RED RIVER BLUE"Honey Bee" BRINGING BACK THE SUNSHINE"Neon Light" "Lonely Tonight" TEXOMA SHORE"I Lived It" FULLY LOADED: GOD'S COUNTRY"God's Country" "Happy Anywhere"

Eeeeeewwwwww, it it unacceptable for "Goodbye Time" to be leaving when we still have some of his super bland modern stuff like "The More I Drink", "I Lived It", and "Happy Anywhere" still in the running

SHOOTER - 36 ClevelandRox - 44 Well, as you can all see...I have lost my #1 which is a bit disappointing. This is the song that introduced me to Blake Shelton back in 2004. It is just so funny and clever to me, what can I say! This was the second single from his 'Barn & Grill' album. Anyway, six other participants lose a top 10 placement while SHOOTER and ClevelandRox pull into my parking spot rank this in the 30's and 40's respectively. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Which means...we are at our top 10! Here are the remaining tunes: BLAKE SHELTON "Austin" "Ol' Red" THE DREAMER "The Baby" "Playboys of the Southwestern World" BARN & GRILL "Nobody But Me" STARTIN' FIRES "She Wouldn't Be Gone" RED RIVER BLUE "Honey Bee" BRINGING BACK THE SUNSHINE "Lonely Tonight" TEXOMA SHORE "I Lived It" FULLY LOADED: GOD'S COUNTRY "God's Country"

This is a pretty strong top 10 overall. HeyHeyHey not to nitpick, but I believe you mean that "Nobody but Me" is still in, not "Nobody but You," lol.

Pretty strong top 10, though I'm quite surprised to see "Some Beach" miss out. I had it pegged for a top 5 finish, easily his biggest hit outside of "Austin" from the first decade of his career.

Glad to see “Goodbye Time” at least make it into the top 15 as I’ve always enjoyed it and much of a fan I am of Conway Twitty’s I actually find that I’m partial to Blake’s cover.
“Happy Anywhere” has really grown on me as of late and I must admit that I’m really enjoying hearing it on the radio. It’s certainly my favorite song of the three featuring Gwen Stefani and I’m looking forward to revisiting it again for the year-end rankdown.
I can’t say that I hear “Neon Light” much anymore on the radio, but I’ve always liked this song. Usually Blake has one or two songs from an album era that are hit or miss for me, however, I enjoyed all of the releases from Bringing Back the Sunshine including the title track which I almost wish had gotten released as a single itself.
Quite surprised to see “Some Beach” leave just before the top 10 as I had thought it would make it in. It was always a fun song to hear out driving around during its climb up the charts and is one that I still hear occasionally on the radio.

Oh, I forgot to comment on “The More I Drink” of which I really don’t have much to add other than that it was an easy bottom 10 song for me as I’ve never much cared for it either way. I’m even somewhat perplexed it made it as far as it did considering it was only a minor top 20 hit for him. I guess it was just never on my radar as a song that was well liked enough to even make the top 20 let alone the top 12.
This is a solid group of songs in the top 10 although I do admit I’m surprised to see both “Playboys of the Southwestern World” and “I Lived It”. I’m gonna take a stab here and try and make a prediction for how this all might play out:
10. Playboys of the Southwestern World 9. I Lived It 8. Nobody But Me 7. She Wouldn’t Be Gone 6. God’s Country 5. Honey Bee 4. Lonely Tonight 3. Ol’ Red 2. The Baby 1. Austin

I don't dislike anything in the Top 10 but will agree with tim that I am surprised to see both "Playboys of the Southwestern World" and "I Lived It" make it in. I like both songs but those and "Lonely Tonight" don't deserve a Top 10 placement over "Goodbye Time" or "Some Beach". I feel like "Lonely Tonight" is only high because of Ashley Monroe. I do like the song but it doesn't compare to most of these songs in the Top 10 or the 2 that I mentioned that missed. That being said here are my predictions for the Top 10: 10 ~ "Playboys of the Southwestern World" 9 ~ "I Lived It" 8 ~ "Lonely Tonight" 7 ~ "Nobody But Me" 6 ~ "The Baby" 5 ~ "She Wouldn't Be Gone" 4 ~ "Honey Bee" 3 ~ "God's Country" 2 ~ "Ol' Red" 1 ~ "Austin" I totally expect overplay to hurt "Honey Bee" and recency bias to help "God's Country". I also think the sappiness of "The Baby" will keep it from the Top 5. I could see both "She Wouldn't Be Gone" and "Lonely Tonight" swapping places too though I'm hoping they don't

Are we ready for 5 more reveals? 10. I Lived ItKanenrá:ke - 6 lady𝓐fan - 6 kw9461 - 6 gonecountry = 8 tim - 10 austin - 11 .indulgecountry - 12 castleoblivion26 - 13 George Strait Junkie - 13 someguy - 14 HeyHeyHey - 15 psmith1990 - 17 ClevelandRox - 21 SHOOTER - 30 LBTrocks - 31 bboat11 - 42 TOTAL: 255 At #10 is the second single from Blake's 'Texacoma Shore' album. "I Lived It" is a really pretty, reflective song in my opinion. It is sort of an interesting change in pace for Blake and I am glad he released the tune as a single. Even though this didn't receive a top 5 rank from anybody, this scores five ranks inside the top 10. Two ranked this in the 30's while bboat11 ranked this in the 40's. The next reveal is a song I didn't like at all the first time I heard it but once I went back to it I kinda got hooked....

I'm guessing my predictions for #10 & #9 are backwards and "Playboys of the Southwestern World" is out next. Still surprised that is Top 10

I first heard this song when I was a kid and at the time I was under the impression that this song was really wacky and weird so I didn't like it. To be honest, I was partly right: this song is wacky and it is weird, but now I love it. "Playboys of the Southwestern World" comes in at #9. This was the third single from 'The Dreamer' and failed to make the top 20 on country radio. In terms of our placements, six participants put this in their top 5 with many others ranking it high. Four people put this below 30.

and there it goes. "Playboys Of the Southwestern World" far exceeded my expectations but I'm not one bit upset by that. I happen to love this song and have since I first heard it. Though back when this came out I loved everything that Blake released up to that point.
I'm gonna predict that one of "Lonely Tonight", "She Wouldn't Be Gone", or "Nobody But Me" is out next
Edit: well that was a little late lol.
I'm pleasantly surprised to see this miss the Top 5. Nothing against those who ranked it high because it is a good song and I get it but I do feel that Ashley Monroe is why this was ranked high as I feel like the song is a little on the dreary side. Not necessarily a bad thing but compared to his other songs it wouldn't stand out at all if it wasn't for Ashley's participation on the song.
Now I'm expecting "She Wouldn't Be Gone" or "Nobody But Me" will go but am hoping for "Honey Bee" to leave first tbh

lol WUT. How did "Lonely Tonight' miss the top 5 altogether?! I actually thought that might be a dark horse contender for #1.
Idk how anyone can not like that song, the melody is fantastic and Ashley Monroe is a fantastic addition to the tune. I know this is in the top 10 and that means it did very well, but it still feels like it got done dirty lol.
