Look @ me correctly predicting how the top 5 would play out ![:smokingdiva:](http://i.imgur.com/t6wcd.jpg) I'm sorry, "Austin" is just the stupidest song lol. I already hate it musically, something about that melody is really awful to my ears, and lyrically I feel pretty much the same way. Who would have so much long-winded babble on their answering machine, and then later change it to even more long-winded babble ![:dead:](http://ruadventures.com/forum/Smileys/animated/smiley_resurrect_grave.gif) poor Austin will never get tot he part that's relevant to them because they will have long hung up by that point. I personally would never call this person, ever. It's just a plot-driven song that trying to be "deep" lol. Hard pass. "Ol' Red" on the other hand is absolutely fantastic, the melody and instrumentation are excellent and I think the song tells a pretty cool story too lol. I love the last line so much, "love got me in here and love got me out" is just such a clever way to wrap up the story the song is telling. Thanks for hosting HeyHeyHey ! Yea, especially when it seems like someone in particular may have intentionally tanked a song ![:oprahsuspicion:](https://i.imgur.com/ksYKoO2.gif) Idk how serious you're being, but I actually really don't like when an accusation like this is made. I would hope that y'all know me better than to know that I would intentionally tank a song by putting it dead last just because I didn't want it to win. I genuinely hate "Austin" with a burning passion and it has always been my least favorite song of his. I get that might be astounding to most of you because y'all love the song so much, but that doesn't mean it isn't true for me. I can't speak for SHOOTER but I have no reason to believe someone isn't ranking according to their own personal tastes, unless said poster is pretty much a known troll or troublemaker. This review sounds just like when you hated "She Didn't Have Time" because you didn't understand why she had to consider lying about whether she had a child or not to some strange man that she had never met ![:dead:](http://ruadventures.com/forum/Smileys/animated/smiley_resurrect_grave.gif)

But also, sorry, I know it's just for the song but I can't get over anyone having all of that as their recording for their message machine

as much as I love "Ol' Red" I'm disappointed to see it be #1. "Austin" should have and LBTrocks I am floored at your hatred for the song because it is such a great song. Sometimes I wonder if you take lyrics too seriously but idk. There have been many songs I've hated that you've been confused by like I am by you hating this so you do you lol. Thanks HeyHeyHey for doing this rankdown it was fun to do! Wish "She Wouldn't Be Gone" could have done better than "Nobody But You" tbh but am happy it was Top 5!

For whatever reason, I just really dislike the melody and arrangement. It's not even that Blake sings it poorly, he actually delivered quite a good vocal on it, but as a song it just, from a strictly musical standpoint... isn't my cup of tea.

“She Didn’t Have Time” is one of the most boring songs Terri ever did - it’s OK to hate it.
“Austin” is good it’s just overrated and I kinda hated sharing my name with it!!
The right song won!! Great RD!
Also, Crox tried to tank Ol Red too - so not sure LBT should be singled out at all here.

"Ol' Red" is the better song and also Blake's signature hit so this feels like the correct outcome to me. I like "Austin" personally, but I also can see why Flops dislikes it, unlike his reasoning for the Terri Clark song which I still find shaky.

Thanks HeyHeyHey for a great rankdown. Really wasn't that surprised to see Ole Red win it all. Great to see She Wouldn't Be Gone, I'll Just Hold On, Playboys and The More I Drink all do so well. Thank God the #1 wasn't some of that dribble he's been putting out in the last decade or so.
