Xmas songs have taken over but Lonely is still going "green" while Monster 5 weeks newer + album release is falling. If radio can only choose one I hope they pick Lonely because it deserves

there were days of +15 followed by -8

I'm just happy to see it gaining on top 40, a few weeks ago it looked like radio was going to drop it

My guess is Holy and Lonely will be on JB6. Yes Holy was put on "Home this Christmas" but it's a playlist and not on itunes. Both songs have a narrative, combined they have 426M streams on spotify and gaining it doesn't make sense to leave them out. Also Holy has an expensive video it's not a one-off like Stuck with U

But I don't think Holy is the "lead" the upcoming single is apparently solo and uptempo. So I think the "lead" in January and another single before the album like Changes and Purpose.

If I was scooter, that’s how I would do it. The solo lead single needs to be amazing, uptempo and radio friendly. Knowing Justin it’s gonna be a crap rollout and none of this will happen though. The one thing Justin is missing is a song that debuts with 5m streams on Spotify and rises or barely falls the second day. He needs to smash not only on radio but Spotify too.

^^Overexposure is not a problem some artists release even more often. January is one of the worst time to release an album and it's risky with just the lead single. Lead + another single before album is the best way and Scooter has been using this rollout for his artists, it worked why change it?

Justin filmed those Apple Music videos for Changes in Nov and Changes was released 3 months later. He's finished work for this year except the NYE concert that means the album is not coming in Jan or Feb. It's likely coming late March or in April, later is better. That's why Scooter keeps saying "era" implying long.

Finally I don't think the album is even finished. In Oct he tweeted that he finished and Changes came out in Feb. He posted a studio picture it looks like he's still working on it

It’s going to be hard for him to have a #1 solo single, or make a big debut like the one you are talking about. He’s been releasing too much music, especially collaborations, over the last 1.5 years. He’s been getting steady top 10 hits and I can see that continuing with a couple more songs.

I do not understand the appeal of this song at all. This phase of JB's career has been an enormous musical step back from 2015-16, and I'm not sure why he's notching smash after smash as easily as he did during that era.
