THEY'RE GONNA REPUSH "IN YOUR EYES" ON RADIO: What a bizarre strategy. Why not just push a new single across all the formats, something like “Scared to Be Lonely” would work on AC/Hot AC. But I guess they really are just giving up on doing anything else off this album besides serving tired remixes. |

I'm not seeing anywhere else that says it's getting an AC push. It's not listed as a Future Release on AllAccess and not under Cool New Music. Do they have a source?

As much as I Love In Your Eyes. If they are/were trying to push a song it should've been Save Your Tears. Agree. Sonically, it feels very much like The Weeknd's "Circles", and if the latter's performance on radio and streaming is any indication, "Save Your Tears" would be a sure-fire success. But much like what happened with "Hollywood's Bleeding", the biggest hit off "After Hours" unfortunately overshadowed the following single releases. Regardless, I hope "In Your Eyes" manages to get another run somehow, though for me the Doja Cat remix remains superior. |

^Also speaking of "Save Your Tears", it's currently being promoted in The Netherlands as a radio single, where it reached top 20 despite their being literally no promo. It's definitely the "Die For You" of this era, and a smash that can easily occur.

I still feel like there is Ariana fatigue. It’s only been 1.5 years since her last album, which came 5 months after the last album. And in between then she had 4 high profile collaborations. I think this era is going to come and go quickly, and I doubt it will make as big of a splash as her last 2 eras.

I think this era is going to come and go quickly, and I doubt it will make as big of a splash as her last 2 eras. I mean, TUN was a massive era and managed to set and break records. It's going to be hard for anyone to match that, let alone Ariana. However, I don't think there's Ariana fatigue. Her tweet announcing the album got around 1 million likes in 12 hours, which is a very good number. The last Ariana Grande hit single was "break up with your girlfriend," or "boyfriend" if you really want to stretch it. A year and a half is plenty of time in the streaming era. She'll be fine if the substance is there and the music is good. |

^^They are under the same label so them dropping on the same day has 0% chance. And if Drake drops on 23rd Ariana now is way bigger, so she will beat the second week of Drake. The Views scenario is impossible.

He's probably dropping 2021 at this point. 40 just did an interview where he said Drake had been done with the album, and that he can "drop at anytime". He also said that he is one to make 10 tracks and then redo the album🥴 |

There was speculation that Drake was releasing sometime around his birthday (which is next week), or so I kept reading on IG anyhow and apparently one his producers liked one of the posts that the Hip-Hop blogs began reporting on.
However, I don’t think that’s plausible at the moment so he’ll be releasing in 2021 instead, alongside Rihanna, Adele, Kendrick Lamar and Beyonce - the A-listers we (“I”) need the most. 🔥🔥🔥
