Kings & Queens might get caught in between years, I can see it going recurrent in a few weeks. People said the same thing about Breathin' 2 years ago, and it ended up at #72. (2019 had a shockingly low cutoff but still) i didn't expect it to fall so soon after peaked. I figure it would have decent run on the charts thanks to the radio, just like her first big hit, but apparently not

So far, I have DaBaby having three songs making on the YE none of which where he's the lead artist with For the Night, Levitating and Cry Baby, am I missing anything?

"ROCKSTAR" might stick around long enough to make it, but otherwise, that's all he has so far. (+ the "WHAT'S POPPIN" remix, but I think it's likely on its way out)

Forgot about ROCKSTAR, that's still up in the air for me.
Speaking of songs that are on its way out, I Hope may be on its way out in the next few weeks.

The WHATS POPPIN remix goes super-recurrent by the end of this month without enough points to make it, so it will miss.

I don't think Cry Baby will make the YE it's terrible & the streaming will be gone soon I'm not making any bets this time because that has already gone somewhat wrong this year but if anyone wants betting advice go for this song missing the YE

Btw does anyone know if B.S would have made the 2020 year end if it's full chart run counted?

Well, looks like my prediction that Morgan Wallen would have at least 3 songs on the 2021 YE won’t be coming true after all. Friendly reminder that this prediction is still well alive.

Week 12 - 06/02/2021What? No, I didn't miss last week, I'm sure that post is somewhere. Real talk, though, I'm sorry for not keeping this up to date, turns out hyperfocus is a hell of a thing. Anyway, I'm just going to keep it brief this week while the motivation lasts - I'll (hopefully) go back to the more in-depth descriptions next week. Current Tally:Forecast:

I'm happy to see "Kings & Queens" passing the cut-off soon.

I wonder if All Want For Christmas Is You will make 2021 year-end. I think it definitely will even with a few weeks on the Hot 100.

I wonder if All Want For Christmas Is You will make 2021 year-end. It has enough points to, it just depends whether Billboard lets it appear or not. They might change the rules about it idk

Hoping that dakiti can get really high. Hopefully top 25, crossing my fingers.

^It will depend a lot on its longevity in the Hot 100 given that its parent album was already released. For reference, Mia managed to be #44 for the 2018 Hot 100 Year-End but lost some of its first three weeks to the 2017 year-end and managed 27 weeks total in the chart. Dakiti lost its first week on the Hot 100 to the 2020 Year-End. For it to be in the top 25, it would probably need to get to at least 30 weeks in the Hot 100.

I honestly think besides the 8 songs already locked there's gonna be no other repeats from 2020. Savage Love is dead, What's Poppin & Before You Go are timing out at 52 and will both be well short of 150k, Morgan Wallen just fucked up More Than My Hometown's chances beyond belief, & Rockstar is falling surprisingly fast I thought it'd pull an Only Human but it could very well only get 1 more week and it needs at least 3. After the insanity of 2016 & 2018 it would be kinda weird having only 8 repeats with only 7 of them really being 2020 songs.
I think the order they're gonna finish in will be like
Mood Blinding Lights Go Crazy For The Night Laugh Now Cry Later I Hope All I Want For Christmas Is You Dynamite

Not really complaining, though, it means we have more material to choose from for our year-end lists (although RATCT possibly making it doesn't help matters).

^But who ends up higher in the end might depend on which songs manages to outlast the other one.

Yeah I'm also disappointed it didn't really make its move tho. Its struggling rn and I thought it would be a number one hit. C'mon radio you can take this any time. My local Latin station literally plays every other Latin song, mood, toosie slide, and Lifestyle by m5, but they won't even touch dakiti. Its ridiculous. Does nobody know why radio is doing to this to as big of a song as dakiti. I mean this masterpiece already has over 500m views on yt. Its ridiculous.

I hear Dakiti quite often on radio and it's currently 32 on Kworb so it's getting its spins.

What kind of latin station are you listening? Because tomorrow Dakiti will spend its 3rd week at #1 on Mediabase's Spanish Contemporary www.allaccess.com/mediabase/q/report/sevenDay/format/L1/panel/N/detail/C/reportType/Pand it's #1 year-to-date www.allaccess.com/mediabase/q/report/yearToDate/format/L1/panel/NI also hear Dakiti on KIIS and Z100.

I have a feeling Blinding Lights is gonna finish Top 10 again, especially if it goes #1 this next week. Hell, maybe even Top 5. It's still too early to say but I feel like this track is gonna be sticking around for a lot longer.

^ As long as it doesn't jeopardize "Save Your Tears" 's performance, no complaints from my part.

The fact that Dakiti is a lock for the year end list at all is a bit of a miracle that we shouldn't be taking for granted.

If that happens could Blinding Lights actually be #1 twice in a row? That would be total insanity but barring a monstrous #1 from Drake, Post Malone, or maybe Adele or Bruno Mars it could wind up with the most points in 2021
