The entire album is actually about the pandemic and how it's impacting all of us. The title Dis-ease is a play on words where the "disease" is also causing dis-ease aka a lack of ease/discomfort. It's got an old school hip hop feel with an amazing bridge. The english lyrics to all of their songs are available online and youtube usually has lyric videos. You probably aren't interested and don't care in the information but I'm still sharing it because I'm sure there is someone reading who is. Also, regards to the album bomb (they also had an album bomb on Rolling Stone chart) the only songs that were available on the d2c store was Dynamite and Life Goes On. None of the other songs that charted had that option, so those are all from the same sales sources as everyone else on the chart. Iβm honestly starting to think youβre one of those Twitter accounts that doesnβt really like BTS but hides behind being a fan to start crap. There is no way youβre this dense that no one here wants to read what you say. Iβm a damn stan and I donβt even want to read your posts Then don't read them. No one is twisting your arm. As I stated in my response my comment was more for people reading but not commenting. Many people lurk and there's enough BS disinformation about BTS on this forum that never gets corrected that I need waist high wading boots.

Does anyone else feel bothered that TIA and Dakiti aren't in the top ten? I'm pretty sure more people know these songs than I Hope and Holy. "I Hope" was a big country hit and now has exposure via Top 40 radio, so not sure how anyone can slight it in terms of not being known. That's different from whether people love it right now, but I think it's safe to say many people know it. In the Hot 100, though, the Charlie Puth remix can't be overlooked for it. Without it, I doubt it would have reached the top 5 without the contribution of this version to all the components and gotten the longevity it has achieved. No wonder it continues to be the credited version.

Do we think βLife Goes Onβ will be serviced to Pop? If so, how will it do? It got 0.410 in radio audience last week, the top station (KJYO Oklahoma City) spinning it 13 times. I wonder how much OKC got paid for them & I bet they were an iHeart station.

The Hot 100 is getting to be a complete joke. A song that 99 percent of the Usa people have never heard is #1, and the song has virtually no radio airplay.

I don't think that would have gone on with fans buying more copies each week as long as it did if not for rage buying. The more hate and attacks the fanbase sees or gets the more likely there will be rage buying. In fact, there are probably a few people who read your comment and ordered another $50 album or two to give as a Christmas gifts as a virtual middle finger. WHO DOES THAT? WHO HAS THAT KIND OF MONEY JUST LYING AROUND LIKE THAT TO SPEND LIKE THAT? And if they do, I need a new Louis bag, a Gucci belt, and a Dyson vacuum cleaner.

I'm surprised how quickly WAP has dropped off. After being such a huge cultural sensation and spending its first 11 weeks in the top three, I didn't think it would be down to #23 just 5 weeks later. It seemed like it was going to have more top ten/top twenty longevity than that.

There shall be instances when many just have not been able to hear certain songs. I haven't heard that "Mood" song nor have I heard the new BTS. I don't plan to seek either out because I have other songs I would prefer to listen to. I'll hear them somehow eventually.

The majority of their fan base are actually adults. There is a really good you tube video called "This Is BTS" by XCeleste that gives that fanbase age range breakdown and it was even shocking to me when I first watched it. The majority of their fans are over 25 years old and over 20% are over 40 years old. Because they are older the fans have more disposable income. lol, an interesting fact, BTS did a Hyundai Palisade commercial. Their fans literally sold out the car model and the orders were so backlogged that they were on a 6 month back order. They generate almost $5 billion annually to the South Korean GDP. They have some rich fans. BTS had announced well in advance of Megan, though. She had a great debut and would have had a #1 if her team did a better job. BTS's previous 4 albums all debuted at #1, the last one with huge numbers. I really don't know what her team was thinking.

Remember when some of us (myself included) were so sure "Heather" was going to become a hit? Yeah...guess that didn't happen.
And I cannot believe "Prisoner" didn't even crack the top 40! At least the UK is giving her the love she deserves this era, where both "Prisoner" and "Midnight Sky" are in the top 10 right now.

Do people really think that kpop groups produce their own artistic material? I don't even believe that their personalities are real. Depends on the group. There are self produced groups like Seventeen, Gidle, and Stray Kids, but even then each song gets approved by their company. As for personalities are concerned, what makes you think the personalities of Western artists are real? There is a personality shift in me when I go into professional settings compared to where I am with loved ones. This goes for many other people.

The first thing Billboard should do is just quietly change the rule of 4 digital song purchases counted down to a limit of 1. (I say quietly because Billboard never tries to publicly disclose how much sales can count in one order to specifically discourage stan stuff like this situation) There's still no reasonable logic of why someone would need to buy the same song 4 times on digital mp3 anyways. You do not need four files of the same song on your computer. Should've never been more than 1 digital purchase from the same person could count. As for the instance of people buying a song multiple times at once because of different remixes, people doing that not for chart purposes is so rare and uncommon, and if you buy a Digital EP/Physical Single with 5 remixes included it only counts as one sale for the song so I'm not sure why buying them individually then counts multiple times. that's great idea. but one of problem is you can buy it at separated order. it's not 4 per person. but 4 per "1 order". so now it's 4+4+4+4+4+4+4+4, they can still do 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 type mass buying. 1 sales limit per order for digital sales and just removing d2c digital single sales would be great.

You all should stop acting like western music industry is all rainbows and roses. BTS was given shares of the company for free. Each of them is now around $20M richer. They don't have any dating ban like most kpop groups. They have creative and artistic freedom. Their latest album is fully managed by them. The mv to the song was directed by one of the member. All of them took part in writing the songs. You all need to find something new to drag.

I didn't want to mention Kesha because it was more about sexual harassment than company management. It's true, you can find slave contracts in South Korea (like SM, a company is one of the worst and the whole reason for all that kpop stereotype) but Big Hit is different. They were small company close to bankruptcy and the CEO believed in BTS and invested everything in them (even his own house). They were struggling for years, leaving in one room, cutting of from broadcasts, blacklisted by media because of big agencies influences. They created really close bond with their boss. He still treats them as his own sons. If that is not enough, they signed another 8 years old contract a year before the old contract expired and it's know as the best entertainment contract in history of South Korea. Some of you really should use google from time to time, because you act like self proclaimed music gurus here and the truth is, you know nothing about music outside of US.
