Whatever - my apologies to the Barbra Streisand, Aretha, Diana Ross and Connie Francis and even Judy Garland fans Brenda Lee is not an upcoming artist. Fanbases are likely not going to mobilize and conduct download days. No BTS remix to get this to #1, no 19 different versions on itunes. No Justin Bieber remix. (The fanbases that do that are likely a lot younger and outside of this song have likely never heard of Brenda Lee) No advertising campaign to try and outsell Mariah Carey so that she can save face. This is a 62 year old song that has become to #2 Christmas song now pretty much on an annual basis. If anything, though, Mariah is the outlier. In terms of the Holiday 100, Mariah's song is the only one released in the past 35 years. Additionally most of the artists in the top 10 are dead (all but 3 right?).

Maybe the posters talking about fan campaigns for "Rockin'..." are saying such in jest? It's a thought, anyways. Joel Whitburn is one measurement, links to other sites are others, Billboard is another -- Don't really care -- as with anything different ways to measure Brenda Lee probably not worried about overtaking Mariah with a 62 year old song. Nor is the label Doubt any BTS-style fanbases exist to get this to #1 Now back to our regularly scheduled programming Speaking of broken records... We know your point (and I doubt any of us disagree) and Iβm sure you knew the point being made but chose to chime in anyway. For some reason you canβt admit you made a typo or whatever. Itβs neither here nor there but it helps to participate in a discussion rather than talk at people.

I canβt imagine the Kid Cudi album is still going to release with Taylor Swift releasing. Despite lack of cross over audience, I canβt imagine that it would be a good idea to continue with it.

He's never even had a #1 album before. He's always released during weeks with bigger artists releasing. I'm sure he doesn't care.

Playboi Carti is claiming he'll drop Whole Lotta Red tonight. I'll believe it when I see it. Nevertheless, it's a W: either it's WLR or new Mario Judah. If he does drop, I wonder how close it gets to evermore? I want to say Eternal Atake would've beaten it on streaming (even with a short tracking week) but Carti has always been smaller than Uzi. Obv on sales Taylor would slaughter him.

Donβt forget that Jack Harlow is releasing his debut album tonight too. His songs are already seeing boosts in anticipation on AM.
Between Taylor, Jack, Cudi, maybe Carti, and of course the Christmas music, itβs gonna be a bloodbath for 12/26.

Rihanna's last album was released in January 2016 (ANTI) Since then we got 4 Ariana Grande albums 4 Taylor Swift albums 5 Drake "albums" 2 Ed Sheerans albums 2 Camila Cabello albums 2 Dua Lipa albums 2 Katy Perry albums 2 P!nk albums Heck even Miley Cyrus released 2 albums just to name a few.. Rihanna released an album EVERY year from 2005-2012 and then again in 2016. Whatever her peers are doing now in terms of constant releases, sheβs already done! Letβs relax and wait for 2021 (she is definitely releasing then) whereby she has stated in multiple interviews since 2018 that she is working on TWO albums simultaneously, both of which will be completely different from eachother. ππΏ If anything... Iβd hate to be an Adele fan. Itβll 6 years since 25β in January. Rihanna basically sat out Trump's presidency lol

Go Crazy actually saw some recovery on Rhythmic/Urban/Urban AC today, where its audience gains across all those formats combined (about +1.1) were more than those for pop radio alone (about +0.75, currently #12 on that format). This probably explains why it gained so much overall audience today.

So is it safe to say "Go Crazy" is Chris Brown's biggest radio hit since... idk, "Forever" in 2008?
