“Let’s Get Back to Me and You” was our last remaining album track to exit leaving the four singles to duke it out in the rest of the top 5. This was our fourth least polarizing song and for the most part was a steady top 5 contender for its entire run. All but one participant put this in their top 8 leaving Kris Kringle on the outside looking in down at the bottom 2. Four participants lose a top 5 ranking including a top 3 from ClevelandRox.

The albums fifth and final single “I Don’t Even Know Your Name” bows out next and is only the second single from the album to leave. After having just lost our fourth least polarizing song, we now lose our fourth most polarizing with seven participants losing a top 5 ranking including ClevelandRox who departs with his #1 song. All but one participant slotted this somewhere within their top 10 leaving gardyfan as the lone holdout. This was our second song to be a #1 contender as it held onto that slot early on in its run. For the most part it remained within the top 3 and only slid back a spot once the final lists came in.

Thus far each of the singles have exited in the same order that they left in Alan's singles rankdown with the albums first single “Summertime Blues” leaving next. This is also our third song in a row in which all but one participant ranked in the top 10 and this time is Kanenrá:ke who put this in his bottom 2. While no one ranked this at the top of their list, both Cody Wants Out... and Kris Kringle put this in their top 2 while six others ranked this inside their top 5.

To no one's surprise I'm sure, "Livin' on Love" comes out on top which was probably the expected outcome as it not only was the winner Alan's singles rankdown, but it was also a top 2 finisher in the previous BotB Country Rankdown Winners. Once it found its way on top, it remained there for the duration of the rankdown. This picked up five #1 rankings from Kanenrá:ke, castleoblivion26, Cody Wants Out..., bboat11 and 🌺CountryLineDancer as well as a handful of top 2 rankings. This came in as our second least polarizing song as every participant ranked this somewhere within their top 4. Even still, it was a close finish as "Gone Country" was always just a few points away from taking the lead. In fact, it was a steady top 2 contender for most of its run and comes in as our least polarizing song overall. Yet again every participant ranked this somewhere within their top 4 including three #1 rankings from someguy, .indulgecountry, and Kris Kringle. With seven other participants ranking this in their top 2, I have to think that this will be putting up quite a fight in the next Revenge of the Best rankdown! Thanks to everyone for following along and I'm looking forward to our next album What I Do! I posted an update regarding that album earlier this afternoon, but thus far we already have ten participants so hopefully we can still match the same turnout we had for this one.

Wish "Gone Country" could've caused an upset, but I wasn't too optimistic that would happen. "Livin' on Love" is a catchy enough song, too, so not heartbroken by the outcome.

YASSS at that 41 point difference between "Gone Country" and "Summertime Blues" 😂 This was about as obvious of a top 2 as we've ever had, and those numbers speak for themselves!!! I'm so glad "Gone Country" finally gets to finish in the top 2 of a rankdown, as this is one of those all-time great songs from the '90s that hasn't aged a day and is just as much of a jam as it always has been. That being said, "Livin' On Love" is the most deserving winner, as it is easily one of my favorite chorus melodies of all time. Thanks for hosting tim ! Excited to see "Monday Morning Church" join the winner's circle next!

This is your TWO DAY REMINDER that lists for our next album What I Do are due Wednesday, July 21st. I'm happy to give an extra day or so if needed, but since we were already at 10 participants I didn't feel the need to extend this out much further. That said, I'd like to begin reveals for this over the weekend as come next week my attention will solely be on gearing up for the 1990 Country Rankdown. Participants for What I Do:1. tim 2. George Strait Junkie 3. Kanenrá:ke 4. someguy 5. ClevelandRox 6. castleoblivion26 7. gardyfan 8. bboat11 9. kw9461 10. Cody Wants Out...

Playing catch up, posting before looking at results!
1. "Livin' on Love" won Alan's singles rankdown as well as finishing at #2 in the previous BotB Country Rankdown Winners. Will it come out on top yet again or might a different song take its place?
It's coming out on top again, I'd bet everything I love on it!
2. What will be unlucky #13? Much harder to predict but I think "Hole In The Wall"?
3. What song will be most polarizing? Least polarizing? Most: "Song For The Life" Least: "Livin' On Love"
4. Which two singles will place highest? (Summertime Blues, Livin' on Love, Gone Country, Song for the Life, I Don't Even Know Your Name) "Livin' On Love" & "Gone Country"
5. Which two singles will place lowest? "Summertime Blues" & "Song For The Life"
6. Which album tracks will place highest and do any of them have a chance at the top 5? I could see "Thank God For The Radio" taking out a single or two.
7. Any other thoughts or predictions? Solid solid album, I'm pulling hard for my top 2 album tracks!

Great finish! Weird results overall though to be haha I really truly thought "Thank God For The Radio" would've done a lot better. Bring on "What I Do"!

If you don't get any more submissions will you feel a tad superstitious? Well, it'll have to do for now as 13-14 seems to be about the best we can do for the most part in this series (although we did hit 16 a few albums back!). With that said, let's get this thing moving along shall we!

1. What will be #1? "Monday Morning Church"!!
2. What will be #12? This is tougher because nothing outright deserves last place, but I think "If French Fries Were Fat Free" will probably get the honors just because it's so stupid it will probably have a target on its back.
3. What song will be most polarizing? Least polarizing? Most: "USA Today". Least: "Monday Morning Church".
4. Which two singles will place highest? (Too Much of a Good Thing, Monday Morning Church, The Talkin' Song Repair Blues, USA Today) "Monday Morning Church" will for sure be highest, at #1. Although tbh none of the other singles are iconic enough to be predictable performers here!!! I think I'll give the second-highest honors to "Too Much Of A Good Thing"? But it might only make it to #4 or so.
5. Which two singles will place lowest? "Talkin' Song Repair Blues" and "USA Today". I think TTSRB will be close to "Good Thing" though, so it might finish right around #5, and then "USA Today" will be at like #7 or 8.
6. Which album tracks will place highest and how many of them will make it into the top 5? I think that "Rainy Day In June" will get the honors of highest, although I could definitely be way off base! I do think there is a good chance of the highest album track making it as high as #2 though, so it will be interesting to watch! "You Don't Have To Paint Me A Picture" and "To Do What I Do" should do pretty well too. I think we'll have at least 2 album tracks in the top 5, and possibly 3!

Welcome to the What I Do album rankdown results! We only got one posting for predictions (thanks bboat11!), so we're going to roll with that and see how correct he is. But first, here are some stats to look over as I gear up to reveal the bottom 4 songs: - The first song to exit is our second least polarizing and settled into last place early on in its run
- Only two points separate the bottom 2 songs
- Only one point separates songs #10 and #11
- While no one loses a #1 ranking, two participants lose a top 2
- Only one point separates songs #8 and #9
