“Hole in the Wall” bows out next and unfortunately has the rare distinction of being the only song to remain solely in the bottom 3 for the entirety of its run. It didn't help matters that the first two rankings were in the bottom 2 from yours truly and a last place from ClevelandRox. It rebounded somewhat as it picked up its first of two top 5 rankings from George Strait Junkie only to be followed-up with two bottom 3 rankings from Kanenrá:ke and someguy. A top 10 from kw9461 brought a little more life into this but was never able to gain enough ground to make it out of the bottom 3. That's despite this picking up two additional top 10s as well as a top 3 from .indulgecountry. While I would bump "All American Country Boy" down one spot, this is the one song that I'd likely move up one or two. This is such a well-written song that again utilizes the acoustic slide guitar that is featured throughout the album. This only found its way down in my bottom 2 as it happens to be one of the few songs I ever revisit from the album.

I should mention that only five points separate songs #10 and #6, so that should give you an idea of how competitive the next round of reveals will be

"Hole In The Wall" got robbed! The singles on this album are iconic, but this is one of my very favorite album cuts of Alan's. Alan's delivery of the chorus really showcases his talents as a vocalist. The strength of this album was just too tough I guess.

I only had it at 8 but easily could have been much higher.

Happy Sunday y'al! I had held off on doing any reveals for this as there were a handful of other rankdowns being revealed all at the same time, but I want to go ahead and pick back up where we left off. As I had mentioned the other day, the next five songs are only separated by a mere five points making for a rather competitive run up into the top 5. But first, let's jump into the top 10!

Oh, and a fair warning that not one, not two, but THREE participants will lose their #1 song just as we kick off the top 10!

“Song for the Life” is the first single from the album to exit and along with it takes three #1 rankings from myself, kw9461, and gardyfan. Aside from those three rankings, it only managed to get one additional top 5 from bboat11 leaving the majority of the participants placing this down in their bottom 4. Because of that, this also comes in as our most polarizing song with for participants getting a perfect ranking. Thanks to the three #1 rankings, this was able to weather the lower rankings for the most part including a last place from .indulgecountry and two bottom 3 rankings from ClevelandRox and castleoblivion26. Unfortunately it fell to the back of the top 10 at the final moment as it picked up a fourth bottom 3 ranking from 🌺CountryLineDancer.

“Thank God for the Radio” exits next and comes in as our third most polarizing song. This actually slipped all the way back into last place early on in its run as George Strait Junkie put this at the bottom of his list. It was able to rebound however thanks to a top 2 from Kanenrá:ke. He was joined in the top 5 by three others including gardyfan, Cody Wants Out..., and Kris Kringle. Despite that, most of the participants placed this somewhere at the back end of their top 10 or just outside of that. While it never got any higher than #8, it was able to remain a steady top 10 contender for much of its run.

Each night I take the stage With a six-piece band and a guitar in my hand Singin' songs about my life All the good times and the bad
Then we say goodbye and we load it up And head somewhere I’ve already been Then I lay down in that double bed alone And I thank the Lord again 8. “Job Description” Track: #11 Songwriters: Alan Jackson Total: 101 Average: 7.77 Std Dev: 4.21 (2nd Highest!) {Songs Remaining}Gone Country I Don’t Even Know Your Name Let’s Get Back to Me and You Livin’ on Love Summertime Blues Who I Am You Can’t Give Up on Love

I think "Song For The Life" just blended too much with some other songs for me and I just could not rank it any higher.
"Thank God For The Radio" was nice but nothing special so this seems like the right time for it to go
Hopefully the title track leaves soon, that one was like "Song For The Life" in that it blended too much and was a bit forgettable
ETA: I enjoyed "Job Description" a lot so sad that it is out this early but also not entirely surprised either

“Job Description” comes in as our second most polarizing song from the album and as it exits it takes yet another #1 ranking. After just losing his last place song, George Strait Junkie becomes our fourth participant to lose their top-ranking song while three others lose their last place including myself, Cody Wants Out..., and Kris Kringle. While this was able to gather enough support along the way to slide into the top 5 a few times, it more or less maintained a position just outside of that. Unfortunately, this got hit with a last minute bottom 2 ranking from @countryoutuber which in turn pushed this down a couple of spots. This song has just never been a favorite of mine and more than not I always end up skipping over it.

“You Can’t Give Up on Love” was an early top 5 contender as I had ranked it inside of that. Unfortunately, that didn't last but a brief moment as ClevelandRox followed up with its first of three bottom 3 rankings. He was joined there by George Strait Junkie which in turn put this on a trajectory of slipping outside of the top 10. It started to pick up some more support along the way though as castleoblivion26 and Cody Wants Out... came in with two top 5 rankings. While it dipped back yet again thanks to a bottom 2 ranking from gardyfan, it was able to jump ahead a couple of spots at last moment with another top 5 ranking from 🌺CountryLineDancer. This has always been my favorite album track from Who I Am and therefore I was a bit disappointed with the run it had overall. Needless to say, this at least made it into the album tracks rankdown!

The title track exits just one spot shy of the top 5 and comes in as our fifth least polarizing song. All but one participant put this in their top 10 where it remained a steady contender for its entire run. It wasn't until the last quarter of the rankdown that this managed to pick up its first of two top 5s from .indulgecountry. It was the final list and top 3 ranking from 🌺CountryLineDancer that allowed this to jump ahead by a couple of spots.
