Anyone is not awful. It's much better than this Holy/Lonely mess... But that being said, it's still mediocre. Radio will eat it up though, i'm sure

Maybe the live AM chart on Kworb is frozen right now, but Anyone is only at #169 there with over 15 hours of tracking. That's a bit surprising considering Bieber tends to outperform most pop acts on AM, the song currently leads the iTunes charts, and it probably has the best reception of any single from this album cycle.
Again, it could be Kworb's live AM chart not working, but I was surprised to learn that.

All his latest songs have flopped on apple music I believe. His last one to do decent was holy that went to #6. He defo underperforming on YouTube. He is no where near nowhere near on track to do 12m+ in 24h, which is what holy and monster did. Is it possible that because it is new years day, less people are streaming new music?

I donβt really get why people talk about Bieber being radio fueled? βHolyβ was stable on Spotify & iTunes for months, so it makes sense being #3. βLonelyβ is a lot lower, but has great callouts, so thatβs why itβs gaining. βMonsterβ has the added value of Shawn Mendes, so thatβs why itβs not drowning under the weight of the former 2...much.
If you didnβt complain about βDiamondsβ or βKings & Queensβ being so high, you shouldnβt complain about Bieber. All of his recent radio success makes sense to me, even though his star has faded a little.

So that's why his virtual concert crashed and was delayed for nearly an hour last night. The concert ending was supposed to coincide with the single release, but it ended up coming out while he was on stage. There were so many locals losing their minds on twitter lmao

Radio did play 2 weeknd singles at once, too - βHeartlessβ & βBlinding Lightsβ had substantial airplay at the same time because the former wasnβt big enough to kill the latter. Also - βanyoneβ is gonna need a LOOOOTTTTT of website sales to debut at #1, its performance is a bit underwhelming. I know AM number would be bad but not THAT bad |

Year end countdown AI should start leaving the 7-day rolling chart as soon as Monday, since last Monday is when most stations started transitioning from Xmas to New Year content.
But don't expect it all to fade, as AC completely goes Xmas mode in December and then current-ish songs rebound hard. That benefits older tracks like BL the most.
