So, how long will these older songs from last year keep gaining exponentially on radio? Blinding Lights has gained like 30M AI in the past few days and it doesn't look like it'll be slowing down anytime soon. Based on previous years, today's the last day. 01/03/20 01/03/19 01/03/18 01/03/17

Can you go back one more year, and see if you have data for 1/3, 1/4, and 1/5/16 (the last time 1/2 and 1/3 fell on the weekend, and see if the gains extended that year)?

So we can expect Blinding Lights to end the year in the top 10 again?

So we can expect Blinding Lights to end the year in the top 10 again? Way too early to predict right now. It only gained on streaming because of year-end playlists and radio is going to cycle it out soon. If 2021 is as weak as 2020, it might stick around long enough but we'll have to wait and see.

^Agreed. It would require considerable longevity. And it would be under risk of going recurrent in any given week if it can't remain in the top 25.

So we can expect Blinding Lights to end the year in the top 10 again? As much as i would love to see that, i would rather see save your tears occupy that role instead. The songs on after hours exist you know lmao

I Assume this is based on their usual limited streaming pool they use for their weekly charts?

So this should confirm that Taylor will be the most consumed act when Nielsen publishes the Year-End 2020 Report. Lover+folklore+evermore had ~1.9M sales in 2020 which will give her the edge over Drake's streams.
Last year was even closer call.

MOST STREAMED ACTS IN THE US SINCE 2015:2015: Drake - #1 2016: Drake - #1 2017: Drake - #1 2018: Drake - #1 2019: Drake - #2 2020: Drake - #1 Same goes for the most overall consumed acts in the US since 2016 except he was #2 in 2019 and 2020. Talk about dominance.

^Assuming that the final date considered for the report is December 31, 2020, it could be possible on Billboard's website this Thursday.

Levitating Remix kinda reminding me of Finesse Remix. Rapper remix of a sucessful album, from a fave album track, peaking in January, both surefire dancing bops.. the only thing majorly different I find is that Finesse was more immediate than Levitating

Nope this is based on all albums consumption from the artist. Just like Nielsen YouTube? Pandora? Etc. Well idk, they don't use video streaming in their streaming songs chart, but they are using Video Streaming everywhere else (Weekly/YTD chart). Pandora is programed, so no. Except small portion of streams that are coming from Pandora On-Demand.
Based on Rolling Stone Chart for Artists, i would assume these numbers are Audio only.
But Video streaming is really low because just like Nielsen they filler it a lot. HitsDD mimic everything Nielsen/Billbaord change, despite compalining about everything.

HDD actually mentioned "unverified" YouTube data in September 2019 before we knew of non-song UGC / logged-out views being removed which is interesting

I know this might not do well, but who knows. Maybe the woo helped 50 cent get noticed to the newer generation a bit more and NLE Choppa is one of the bigger upcoming artists right now. It’s a really great track and a nice way to start off 2021
