I believe that radio and streams are perfect the way they are. I just think that sales need to be weighed less, and we can start by removing website sales.

There's just nothing to shake up the charts. There is no obvious reason for most of the top 10/20 to change for the foreseeable future.
When is the last time the #1 in streaming had under 20 million streams?

2016 Cold Water 19.6M at #1 Wow. So that was well over 4 years ago and even then it looks to have been higher than what this next #1 will be.

I went on Adele's Wikipedia page today just to see the accolades for 25 and I see people continuously changing the name of her next album if there even is one.

Morgan Wallen is about to obliterate the charts next week. Itβs definitely going to be one of the most anticipated country releases of the year and the previously released tracks are already starting to get boosts on streaming. I would not be surprised at all if one of the new songs manages to match Luke Combs #2 debut a couple weeks ago, or possibly go #1 due to the charts being so weak. I wish it was a different country artist, but it will be nice to see a different genre really shake up the hot 100 for a week.

TOTC currently estimating dynamite #1 in sales again.
I expect website sales of Bieber vs. BTS will decide this.

They need to figure out how to archive the 2019 lists. I tried accessing it via Wayback Machine, but I can only see the top 15 because of the way the site was (and still is) formatted. If anyone happens to have the full 2019 lists, let me know.

Does anyone know why the Spotify charts are so weak right now? We only had 1 day since Christmas where a song cracked 1M streams.

Is it true that due to a glitch on Billboard website, Madonna has another top 10 on Hot 100 thanks to Levitating? Someone on Atrl claims so.

I think website sales are fine but they need better auditing and more transparency

Several of the remixes from just last year prove this. And it's even worse when you look at the Year-End lists. Why was the remix of I Hope given the credit on the 2020 YE when it only charted for 7 out of its 45 weeks during that window and thus clearly had fewer points than the original?

damn. thinking about when people were begging for post to release circles,
then when blinding lights & heartless dropped the same week with both songs seemingly tanking at first & people thinking abelβs era would be a fluke
a year later, circles and blinding lights both broke the record for most weeks in the top 10 by a long shot and are the 2 biggest Hot 100 songs of the century ππ½

The video for "Save Your Tears" is already outperforming the one for "In Your Eyes". It seems that Abel might have another hit under his belt if is this momentum keeps up. Especially since it apparently seems that people have been yearning for "Circles" and "Blinding Lights" to be combined into one song, and because of the number of memes spawning from the music video and Abel's profile picture on Instagram. Still, watch "Blinding Lights" go number one again while this peaks at the 12-4 range after the Superbowl.

Something tells me Save Your Tears will be just fine and can even chart alongside BL. The music video sparking up controversial topics including the symbolism in the video itself about the figures of LA and the Grammys, and also his face as well. Him actually lip syncing in a main after hours music video, which might not seem much but that could appeal to more audiences than you think. The early (ish) radio push, which has this song be a sleeper hit until now where itβs going to get a power boost, and its final form which is the superbowl will launch this song to its strongest position and weβll see how it holds up
