If this is just another subpar soundtrack single, it will definitely harm her chances for big splash next album single! But the title alone gives me "dated" vibes.

But the title alone gives me "dated" vibes. dated, dated, dated, everything bad is dated. What's with that word? It's used too much with a negative connotation. Isn't Blinding Lights dated cuz it's synth pop? Wasn't Blurred Lines dated? Happy? Heck, even Born This Way? |

Perry said in a statement earlier this year: "Pokémon has been a constant in my life from playing the original video games on my Game Boy, to trading Pokémon TCG cards at lunch, to the adventures of catching Pokémon on the street with Pokémon GO". Dear god, does she really has to put the end to her career promoting what - Pokemon???? Doesn't she have enough money to create something original, but I bet "Electric" is not that. This is the same woman who gave us "Dark horse", "Chained To The Rhythm" and especially one of the catchiest pop singles of the 2010s - "Bon Appetite", which has by the way more than billion views on Youtube, it is three times more than "Blinding Lights" has. But we all know why this song "flopped" on radio - because Katy had an opinion on politics, which I guess big money earning pop star shouldn't have. "Bon Appetite" was the Katy Perry freshest and the most creative with sharp vocabulary. On Friday we will see, what has become of that great pop star... |
