Urelated to this chart. It's regarding Spotify, it released new charts for 4 countries.

From early Jan, when i analysed all countries. link

There are 63 countries with daily charts. There are 2 additional countries with weekly charts only (Andorra & Cyprus). Spotify is availabe in 92 countries, 65 have charts.

Andorra & Cyprys still have only weekly charts.

They added charts (both daily & weekly) for United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Morocco & Saudi Arabia.

Now 69 countries out of 92 have charts. With 2 missing the daily charts.

Why those 2 have weekly, but don't have daily charts:

In order for a country to have a chart for a given day(week) it needs to have at least 50 songs over 1,000 streams.

Speaking of the rising airplay for "dl," it's wild to me it still isn't even top 10 at Top 40. It's clear people love the song, why wouldn't stations pretty much immediately put it into heavy rotation?

"Skin" dropped from #46 to #66. I don't see it having much lasting power after its debut week, and thankfully so.

Doja Cat and The Weeknd share the same management team (hence why we got that forgotten “In Your Eyes” remix). I think the only real competition is “Drivers License,” but surely after the Super Bowl, Abel will have an opportunity to land 2 songs in the Top 3. It’s looking like “Blinding Lights” might return to #1. “Save Your Tears” will benefit hugely post super bowl so they will have an opportunity to get it to #1 later down the line.

As for “Streets,” this too has a potential to go to #1 considering there’s no music video or radio airplay yet. If they have a music video coming that might be the boost to #1 it needs if it’s timed perfectly with growing airplay. It’s very rare these days for a single to be doing this well without a music video. When was the last time that even happened? “Old Town Road” and “Dark Horse” come to mind.

I think they only get about 12-13 minutes, I remember Madonna talking about having only 12 minutes to put on a show. Unless things have changed.

It’s very rare these days for a single to be doing this well without a music video. When was the last time that even happened? “Old Town Road” and “Dark Horse” come to mind.

The Box was massive without a video. Savage still doesn't have a video. Good Days has hit the top 10 without a video. Rockstar had spent multiple weeks at #1 before the video dropped. There are countless examples
