Agreed, it would seem that starting one's chart year six weeks early would inevitably lead to a consistent batch of songs from the previous year that are able to hold on long enough to clinch spots on the next year's YE list despite being forgotten entirely after February or March.

Top 5 on both Spotify and AM!!! Where are the radio deals??
“Streets” is now #5 on Apple Music, making it her highest peaking solo song on this platform.

Yung Bleu's "You're Mines Still" is up to #8 on Apple Music. It previously peaked at #9. So nice to see it have some sort of longevity. With it being projected to rise into the top 40 this week, I wonder if it'll be able to eventually peak in the top 20.

ugh, since Streets isn't stopping anytime soon to my utter annoyance, I will do a challenge:
if Streets hits number one on the Hot 100 charts, I will do a TikTok with my cat to Streets

Skin and Last Day In appear to be more stable than I was hoping in the top 20 of AM.
At least that doesn't seem to be the case on Spotify, where the former is starting to tank and the latter isn't even charting after a full day of tracking.

"Streets" reaches a new peak of #3 on Spotify, and "Save Your Tears" is closer and closer to cracking the top 10. Fantastic stability for "drivers license" and "Good Days" too. I think the latter is very likely going to become SZA's most successful song - solo or otherwise. A music video soon should definitely give it an extra boost.

Have they sent “Streets” to radio? I heard they had planned to drop a brand new single from a new album, but then this took off out of nowhere. They would be stupid to not follow through with radio support and a music video.

Go Crazy is not even in the top 100 of Spotify or Top 30 in Apple and it's still in the top ten of a chart that is supposed to accurately display on what is popular in the country? Radio is absolutely shit now and it's hindering the accuracy of the charts. I know I sound like a complainer but at least I'm telling the truth.

Even some of the songs that weren't repeats last year felt like 2019 hits like Lose You to Love Me, Heartless, Good as Hell, Memories, 10,000 Hours, Highest in the Room and BOP Ditto this but for 2020 hits like Lemonade, you broke me first, 7 Summers, my ex's best friend, Bang! What You Know Bout Love, and Kings & Queens. Even though it is pretty cool all those songs had enough longevity to survive getting most of their points cut Not to mention we have late album hits like “Streets” and “Save Your Tears” coming up. There actually doesn’t seem to be any newer hits at all besides “Drivers License,” “Good Days” and “34 + 35.”

Really don't get all the hate for Put Your Records On I've liked it when I first heard it, it's not super great but definitely not worth all the dislike I think its less of a reaction toward the song itself and more disgust that a cover is doing so much better than the original. If Bailey Rae's original dropped now, it'd likely be a much bigger hit than it was in the 00s, but that alternate reality isn't happening and ritt's autotune (another reason people hate it) electropop cover will be outpeaking it. there's also outcry that he's stealing the song or taking credit for it (which is unfounded but go off).plus hearing a white boy sing "gotta love that afro hairdo" is weird

It’s all subjective. I actually think there are many older songs right now that are still dominant. But I get the point about “Truth Hurts” and “Good As Hell,” but those really are outliers and not something that happens often.

This may be unpopular on Pulse but I’m upset that SO DONE probably won’t become a hit, it’s actually a pretty good song.
