Iβm glad to see βYouβre Mines Stillβ succeeding. One of my favorite rap cuts on the H100 at the moment.
βDamageβ is also #27 on AM, which is AMAZING

Yung Bleu's "You're Mines Still" is up to #8 on Apple Music. It previously peaked at #9. So nice to see it have some sort of longevity. With it being projected to rise into the top 40 this week, I wonder if it'll be able to eventually peak in the top 20. I feel like since LNCL is losing in all categories, Drake stans went over to this song since its one of his more recent songs (lead or featured) Yeah. Laugh Now Cry Later is old news by Drake standards (it's over 5 months old) and it came after a year of constant music releases from him whether as a lead artist or as a featured artist so it's not surprising to me that it burned out a bit faster than usual. You're Mines Still is both a newer tune and an R&B cut and it's slowly grown on people. It's success is due to a combination of all those factors.

I completely forgot to mention Laugh Now Cry Later, it's falling in every category. It peaked on radio, its streaming is not good and it has no sales to speak of and just to show how Drake is overexposed, LNCL hasn't in the top 10 in months. If it weren't radio it would probably be much lower than what it is now.
Edit: I'm really bad at proof reading, I meant to say it hasn't been in the top 10 in other countries for months.

Apart from drivers license, Blinding Lights, Levitating and Bang!, no song is pulling much in pure sales. Streams are low for most songs (Laugh Now Cry Later has more streams this week than 3 songs currently in the top 10) and most songs are only charting as high as they are because of radio (this isn't exactly news). To add to that, 4 songs in the top 10 and 9 songs in the top 20 are currently losing points overall weekly. I don't expect things to start picking up until we're a few months into the year.

Radio picking up LNCL after it started lagging on streaming is normal, radio is always late. LNCL was also a pretty big success and wouldβve hit number 1 if not for WAP, outperforming Toosie Slide by a wide margin. I... I donβt get your point. Itβs not really overexposure, itβs just the public naturally burning on a song

Otherwise, it did fairly well and had better legs than his last #1.

Admittedly, though, the natural and gradual decline of LNCL does invite the question of whether there will be another single from Certifiable Lover Boy before the album is released.

This may be unpopular on Pulse but Iβm upset that SO DONE probably wonβt become a hit, itβs actually a pretty good song. Iβd much rather have SO DONE be the Kid Laroi song blowing up over Without You

Anyone who thinks CLB's is going to be anywhere close to as big as Scorpion is going to be disappointed. I fully expect CLB's first week numbers to be a lot closer to the double album Morgan Wallen released a few weeks back.

Anyone who thinks CLB's is going to be anywhere close to as big as Scorpion is going to be disappointed. I fully expect CLB's first week numbers to be a lot closer to the double album Morgan Wallen released a few weeks back. Morgan Wallen - Dangerous (30 tracks): 265K SPS. Drake - Dark Lane Demo Tapes (14 tracks): 223K SPS. Dark Lane Demo Tapes wasn't even an album but rather a collection of leaks and demos compiled together and released. No one is saying Drake's next album will see the kind of success Scorpion had but saying his next album's first week's numbers will "be a lot closer to the double album Morgan Wallen released a few weeks back" shows that you don't know anything about the history of Drake's debut numbers, especially when it comes to his actual studio albums.

Btw is Justin ever going to release that album? He's got three hits right now, all of which are in the Top 50 on radio, why haven't they released that album?

Based on Rolling stone chart (audio streams only - these are like 5% lower than actual ones, because RS doesn't include Music.YouTube or sth) Toosie Slide had 42.9M Audio streams Laugh Now Cry Later had 52.4M Audio streams Nonstop the #1 song of Scorpion had ~57M. It is obvious that Drake won't pull Scorpion streaming numbers(especially with less tracks as rumoured), but Morgan Wallen level ... Morgan's highest song had 16.8M Audio streams (RS chart).
Drake should secure the second biggest streaming week with CLB, and if somehow the hype builds up to be huge and with enough tracks he has a chance to challenge Scorpion (although it is a small chance). His popularity hasn't declined that much since 2018.

The problem here is that Drake (probably) waited too long to release CLB. Had he released it in the fall when the iron was hot and LNCL was in the Top 5 of the charts, I would have easily said 600k-750k SPS. But by the time CLB is released, LNCL will have gone recurrent and there likely won't be a hit to take its place. I put the ceiling at 400k for CLB, and it will only get lower the longer he waits.

Artists like Drake, Ariana and Taylor don't need promotion and hit singles before the album, people will buy and stream their stuff anyway.

"there likely won't be a hit to take its place"... what makes you think that? If something Drake has is lots of hits... probably 2 o 3 new tracks will compete to top the streaming charts, let alone filling the whole top 10/top 20 with album tracks... probably the public's fav song will be topping spotify, apple and youtube and easily debuting at 1 in the Hot 100. We've seen this happen before.

US Spotify: only 3 songs at 700k+ is pretty weak for the field.

Β Hopefully this could be I feel it coming of this era with better longevity.Β "Save Your Tears" is already number four in Canada, which is where "I Feel It Coming" peaked stateside. I can see the song reaching that same peak after the Super Bowl (maybe even higher if radio starts to fully back it).
