Once again, I'd like to apologize for the incredibly long delay in getting reveals going. Life was crazy in June and I have been writing a book throughout July and the past week of August! But let's try to ignore this messy rollout, shall we? 

I had wanted to wait for Kanenrá:ke's list when I saw he expressed interest, but this rankdown just has got to get out of the way. I'll be sure to tag you in reveals! (And sorry this mess of a rollout caused you to miss out  :(  )

It took 12 minutes, but I finally got my slow WiFi to open up YouTube in order for me to link the audio to each song, lol. We're all likely to need those audio videos in order to remember our opinions since I took so long getting these damn reveals posted 

We kick things off with "Chasin' Them Better Days," from the Write You A Song album proper. This was a bit of a unanimous decision, finishing nearly 20 points behind the #16 song and receiving eight number one rankings, which include three from myself, ClevelandRox and kw9461. However, on the flip side of that, this song wasn't without its lovers as gardyfan immediately takes a hit to his Top 5.

Finishing 19 points ahead of last place is "Over My Head," the first track from The B Sides to be eliminated. I really wish this had done a lot better here! I certainly think there's much worse that could've been placed here instead. The melody is quite catchy and I like a lot of Jon's vocal delivery in the chorus.

This decision was also quite unanimous, with over half of y'all placing this outside of their Top 10, including HeyHeyHey's perfect #16 rank. It sadly only managed to garner five Top 10 rankings, with the highest rank being outside of the Top 5, proving to be far too little energy to keep this song running along.

Just two points ahead of "Over My Head" is "Drinkin' With Me," rounding out the bottom three in a back-to-back B Sides elimination. This song is quite catchy, but I can't help but get a teensy weensy bit annoyed by that go go go go go go moment at the end of each chorus. It completely takes me out of the song, lmao, hence my bottom 5 rank.

This was yet another rather unanimous decision, with nine rankings outside of the Top 10, including 🌺CountryLineDancer 's last place. The song managed to garner a little bit more steam up top with seven Top 10 rankings, including a #3 from HeyHeyHey , but alas it was once again too little to maintain throughout the submission process.

We dip back into the album proper for our #14 reveal. "When I've Been Drinkin'" is...lowkey not good, lol. Never mind the rather plodding production that doesn't go anywhere; these lyrics make me cringe. Just because you've been drinking doesn't mean you won't be absolved of what you've done...especially if what you've done is much more egregious than what was done in this song  

This song picked up seven bottom 5 rankings, half of our participant pool, including the two last places from jamesflame and bboat11 . However, this did also gain quite a bit of support, including from castleoblivion26 , who loses his #2, and gardyfan , who becomes the first participant to lose their #1 song.

"Write You a Song" is absolutely horrendous. Glad that it's finally out. I found quite a few good songs by diving into this rankdown, but this was the one that left me wondering why the hell they named the whole debut record after such a big pile of dreck.

17. How is this last place? The bar-room like outro is quite cute and memorable? Like how many mainstream country album does it at that time?
16. This is where his monotonous and dragging "yeah"s becomeing a bit annoying. Still not bottom 2 worthy.
15. Yet another fun song that is out too soon. Josh Turner would have killed this with that deep vocal paired with "go-go-go-go-go-go" part.
14. It's track 11, not track 12. It's a decent closer, but other songs are better. 2nd highest SD is random.
13. I am actually surprised he left the word uncensored. The infectious groove just randomly clicked on me when I spin this record.
12. Although I had a hard time believing his "outlaw" image here, it's a cool dark-sounding track that has no business being this low.
11. I have always enjoyed the unpredictable melody for the line "But it's gonna be just about you and me". The fiddle in the outro is also quite fun. Y'all missing the point of Jon Pardi as an artist lmao

Also Back On The Backroads doesn't deserve top 10. In particular can my 12-17 out already?

This song is exactly who Jon Pardi is, IMO.  If you've seen him in concert, he gets the crowds really revved up with these kind of jams.
