"Happens All The Time" is great and really deserved a top 5 placement.
"That Man" is gorgeous and I'm glad it's in the top 3, although I wish it could have pulled head of the singles and won this.

Missin' You Crazy is great fun but What I Can't Put Down kicks some serious ass. The video was the first hint of the powerhouse that Pardi was going to become.

"Missin' You Crazy" is good. Very glad that "Up All Night" wasn't the single to take this. "What I Can't Put Down" is a jam, but it is polarizing. I've had mixed feelings on it in the past. At first I found it super annoying, but then it just becomes catchy lol. Thanks taylor for hosting this! |

And there you have it! "Missin' You Crazy" proved to be the runaway #1, finishing nearly forty points ahead of our runner-up, "What I Can't Put Down." The latter tried with all its might throughout the submission process, picking up quite a bit of Top 5 support including two #1s from gonecountry and castleoblivion26 , but alas, it wasn't enough to keep up with the former, which picked up six #1s, and only had one person out of fourteen place it outside their Top 10, proving that it is indeed the best song among Write You A Song/The B Sides!!! (according to Pulse  ) I wanna thank y'all for following along with this rankdown, and I wanna once again apologize for the lengthy delays and messy rollout with which this rankdown went underway. Thank y'all so much for your patience!! I'll officially move on to the second album, California Sunrise, here soon! However, I'm gonna be alternating Jon Pardi with a couple other artists I've been wanting/needing to do album rankdowns for, in a system I've been thinking of doing and of which I'll elaborate further in the Official Country Rankdown Thread. For now, keep jamming along to this album if y'all want, feel free to give your thoughts on the rankdown, and I'll see y'all soon with California Sunrise! |

Was supposed to leave some comments earlier, but I became busy... 10. This just barely in top 10 is a joke. The melody for "I’d make you laugh to see you smile/I’d get real close and whisper goodnight" is such a earworm and the instrumentals are gorgeous. Y'all will be pushing this up if it was sung by George Strait. 9. And y'all let this monotonic song leave latter...why? I also find the electric guitars to be too loud in this one, especially comparing to other songs of the album. 7. This is too low. Sure the lyrics are kinda cheesy, but I think the chorus is quite strong. 4. Anyone hear the similarity in the opening notes between this and Heartache Medication? The bluegrass influence is solid, but the hook is weaker than HM. 3. I listened to this song again, and it's a paint-by-number ballad. This isn't really his main lane. Not that I hate this, but every other songs feel more like his songs instead of imitating classics. 2. I don't like the weird way he sings the chorus, and as the first song of the album it doesn't indicate what this album (or he) brings. 1. Let's just say there are more interesting songs in this rankdown than this, which kinda reminds me of Free and Easy in instrumental side. That fiddle lead-in is gold though. taylor take your time. California Sunrise is the only album where I dislike a few of songs, but there are some songs which are better than songs in this part of rankdown as well. |

I listened to this album a lot when it came out! It’ll be fun to re-visit it!
Also - “She Ain’t In It” should’ve done better on country radio and will hopefully do well here!
