First to exit within the Top 10 is another B Sides track, "Rainy Night Song," in a rather painful loss for Darkest Hour and I, as we were the only ones to bring the taste just lost our #2 song. I just happened to think this song, written solely by Jon Pardi, was lovely in both its delivery and production and I really wish this had done better. Alas, the five bottom 5 rankings were enough to do this one in without any other Top 5 support to go on outside of the two #2 losses.

I definitely think I might've underranked "Trash A Hotel Room" just a little bit. It's catchier than I remember it being!!! That said, I'm still not too moved one way or the other over the fact it made it as far as it did. Definitely a nice achievement for it! But it does also feel like the time for it to leave; as I can definitely understand this one not being everyone's cup of tea.

"Happens All The Time" is another song which I wasn't too swayed by one way or the other, hence my more middle-of-the-road placement of it. This one received quite a bit more support than most of the songs that have left us thus far, with only three bottom 3 rankings, including a #16 from bboat11, but four Top 5 rankings, including the #1 from LBTrocks and two #2s from jamesflame and gonecountry.

I'm such a sap for songs like "Borrowed Time," and its production and melody certainly did it favors with me. I wish this had at least been able to sneak into the Top 5. This one sees five Top 5 rankings be lost--including #3s from kw9461 and I, as well as Darkest Hour's #1.

Trash A Hotel Room is my fav discovery from this RD, and the first sad reveal for me. I wouldn't say this would have been a good single choice, but very solid and memorable album track. Instrumental production is very strong, and the entire melody of the song is very enjoyable.

Back On The Backroads is the only remaining song from B-sides EP?! Seriously? It's a bro-country song...

Mad respect for LBTrocks for their #1 placement for this song.  I was torn between single bias (my ultimate #1), pure thrashing energy (Trash a Hotel Room, my #3) and one of the most sincere songs about the joys of unrequited/young love I've ever heard.  Anyone of them could have been my #1, if I had gone with my heart, I would have picked this one without question.

If you haven't listened to this song and read the lyrics, it exposes a tenderness that I think Pardi does a great job at expressing via song.

Well, looks like you finally get your wish as "Up All Night" just misses out on the Top 5, beating out "Borrowed Time" by ONE point. I happen to quite like this one!!! Some of the lyrics may read of bro-country, but I can think of many songs that contain MUCH more egregious offenses in that regard, lol. This one has a nice melody that hooked me in when I heard it! I'm not alone in loving it, as I am one of six people who put this in their Top 5, including 🌺CountryLineDancer who now loses their #1.

No it's not. There may be women in its music video, but there's not even one mention of one woman in the song itself.

Out next as we enter the Top 5 is "Back On The Backroads," the final B Sides track to be eliminated. This saw the most support of any song we've seen thus far, with all but three of us placing this inside our Top 10s, including jamesflame's #1. This is another one that lyrically isn't the best imo, but melodically makes up for it in spades!

At #4 we find "Love You From Here," which is another song I might've underranked a bit! I absolutely ADORE the production and melody of this one, more so than when I inputted my final list! This song also saw heavy support, with only three people placing this outside their Top 10, and in their bottom 5 no less. Meanwhile, this drew Top 5 ranks from six people, including .indulgecountry, who loses his #2, and bboat11, who loses his #1.

Just one album track ("That Man") and two singles ("What I Can't Put Down" & "Missin' You Crazy") left to go!!! Will "That Man" be able to infiltrate the Top 2?! Stay tuned!  ;)

Taking the bronze in the competition is "That Man." Y'all, I sincerely apologize for my ranking of this one. I don't know what I was thinking!!! This should 100% be in my Top 3, and perhaps even fighting for my #1. This song is beautiful--the production is lovely and the melody, especially of the chorus, is divine. Darkest Hour clearly disagrees, however--they are the last person in the rankdown to lose their last place song.
