there's a preview of "Shirt" at the end, like she did with Hit Diff/Good Days. really nice music video.

Does anyone know how long an album has to be in order to be eligible to chart on the Billboard 200?

Does anyone know how long an album has to be in order to be eligible to chart on the Billboard 200? I donβt think Scary Hours 2 will chart because itβs marketed as a single. Maybe if he called it an EP? My guess for a minimum would be 4, but I donβt know.

Hold On is the best single Bieber has put out since 2017's Friends. He's still struggling to recapture the magic of his Skrillex/Diplo/BloodPop days, but at least he's heading in the right direction.

βWants and Needsβ replaced βWhatβs Nextβ at #1 on Apple Music. Not surprised. I imagine they'll trade back and forth during the week. Nah, wants & needs is definitely staying at #1 for the week. Having lil baby as a feature is also a big help considering hes prolly one of the biggest artists ever on apple music in the US.

If they released it during the right week, she might've gotten #1 on her hands. Also such a shame her label didn't send it to radio or whatever the issue is with radio bc we all know those numbers are nothing compared to what it would be with a proper radio release. Her label is the absolute worse for dropping the ball with a song that had so much potential

Having lil baby as a feature is also a big help considering hes prolly one of the biggest artists ever on apple music in the US. Even if it does stay, I imagine Whatβs Next will still be the one that debuts at #1 due to the sales and likely being the one thatβs getting sent to radio first. W&N will probably go top 10. Not entirely sure about the freestyle, I get the feeling thatβs gonna fall off later in the week.

Awful songs from Drake as usual. Hotline Bling or One Dance were the only songs of him i enjoyed. He'll slay though. What a way to let us know you started listening to him in 2016. Well, he is a nobody here in Turkey so unless you browse Spotify playlists or charts, you don't come across his songs very often.

Didn't they send Good Days to Pop radio? I remember it having an impact date.

^It is already in the top 40 there in terms of weekly spins. That doesn't amount to too much audience, though.

Having lil baby as a feature is also a big help considering hes prolly one of the biggest artists ever on apple music in the US. This is awfully confident of you, lol. Not that it matters what song stays at #1, but there's no way to know that FOR SURE. Songs can decrease/increase in streams across a tracking week. It all depends on what Drake's fans/the GP is rocking with more. I think it's obvious that What's Next is the song getting the push and regardless of whether Wants and Needs remains #1 on Apple Music or not, What's Next will probably be the song that gets pushed on radio and debuts with the most points. I really wouldn't even mind if Lemon Pepper Freestyle overtook What's Next on Apple Music at this point. I'd love to see all 3 songs debut in the top 10 so whatever it takes to get them there, I'm down, lol.

From what I can tell nobody really cares about anything Post does feature wise, his fanbase really just waits for him to release his own music. I swear he's even more successful when it's just him on a track (no features). I disagree on him being more successful on his solo songs. Congratulations, Sunflower and Rockstar are 3 of his biggest hits and they aren't solo. Circles is his only huge hit as a solo artist. I'd consider Wow., Better Now, I Fall Apart, White Iverson, Candy Paint, and Go Flex big hits too... also his biggest non-single is also a solo cut (Stay)

I mean did everyone just forget that Better Now made 2 year end lists and Wow. was the 5th biggest hit of 2019, and if not for Sunflower, it couldβve still been his biggest hit that year? The other hits that were mentioned are hits as well, but i would call them moderate hits compared to the big 3 solo ones.

I feel like Post Malone's most forgotten big hit would be Psycho. I hardly hear people mention this song anymore.

I Fall Apart, Congratulations and White Iverson all belong on the big hits list. They have transcended their chart peaks.

Bruno/Anderson .Paak are now #1 on iTunes and #7 on Apple Music. Justin Bieber is up to #19 on Apple Music. That's more like it.

So many talented artists are signed to TDE. They had a great run from 2015 to 2018 where Kendrick dropped 3/4 projects, Schoolboy dropped Blank Face, SZA dropped Control, Jay Rock dropped 2 projects, and it was the last time Isaiah Rashad dropped anything. It really feels like they squandered these past couple of years with bad promotion and management.

I'm kinda surprised What's New held the iTunes spot for so long. And the obvious AM slayage. See what happens when you play with ppls music Drake!
Drake is thee streaming king but also the rapper with the most #1s on iTunes US (24 with What's New). And the 2nd male artist with #1s on iTunes in general (Justin broke his tie with "Holy", and "Lonely" and "Anyone" also went #1 too. And this new single is at #4, so maybe that'll extend his lead a bit more).
Canadian digital-selling kings!

Does anyone know how long an album has to be in order to be eligible to chart on the Billboard 200? I couldn't find info about BB, but i found about ARIA (Australia). I would assume the rules are the same or at the very least similar.
But anyways "Scary Hours II" won't chart.
"Scary Hours" had 68M Audio streams from "God's Plan" & 25.2M Audio streams from "Diplomatic Immunity". So 93.2M total.
This was released Jan 2018, so BB200 still had only 1 tier divided by 1500. They implemented the paid/free tiers (1250/3750) the week Scorpion dropped.
So 93.2M streams are 62.1K album units.
Chart week 3-Feb-2018 had:
#1 Fall Out Boy - Mania - 130k #2 The Greatest Showman - 109k #3 Scary Hours if allowed to chart

This looks a bit like the OCC's rules. I think they also have the split at 25 minutes. But for them a single is max 4 tracks, and thus an album is 5 or more. However, Billboard does chart EPs on their albums charts. Even if the EP has just 4 tracks and a runtime shorter than 25 minutes. For example 'Texas Sun", at just over 20 minutes. Or "Moral of the Story: Chapter 1, with 12 and a half minutes. Though I do not know how they would handle 2 or 3 track "EPs".
