I like how I'd practically written the second song off while I was listening to that amazing KKB song only to fall in love with it in ten seconds. "Superstar" is more my cup of tea but I'm voting for "The Princess And The Clock" cause it seems to have less references.

Still think SG Lewis is so overrated. All We Have has decent beats but it's too long. I am surprised I will comment on True Crime here first rather than new country releases rankdown lol. This is definitely one of better country pop songs because it actually has a good hook (although the Taylor Swift influence is there).

I have heard one The Veronicas song before and I remembered them as dance-pop artist? What's up with dance-pop artists switching to eDgY rock songs though? The inauthenticity huh. The song is just okay. Slow Down is a nice chill song.

Keep You Down is quite boring tbh, not bad but not interesting at all. I like the soulful vocal of BETSY. Song is a bit too poppy though.

Static is much weaker than the Still Corners songs I have heard before. Only okay grooves in this. I like the idea of ‘96 Neve Campbell more than the actual song, but it's still more interesting between the two.

I guarantee y'all Hell Of A View is a weaker song from Heart & Soul. That said I feel it should get through at least preliminary rounds, but it's unlikely now. I am not big on Sharon Van Etten either so I can persuade myself to support Eric Church this time lol

The RYM comment of The Last Man On Earth being indie rock version of driver's license throws me off a bit. However I expected myself to vote for that. Didn't expect Liberty Bell to sound like this though. The guitars are really good! Great discovery in a long time. Wait...this is Nicholas Jaar's project? That explains!

- "True Crime" is really nice. In a lot of other matchups, I probably would've voted for that song. I just really like "All We Have", as I've liked most of SG Lewis' recent output. It is a little long, but the beat is so good. The vocal effects are a nice touch as well.

- "Slow Down" is a nice vibe and her voice is really good. I also some of the instruments used. Nice song overall. "Godzilla" is kind of a banger. Great energy and instrumentation here!

- Both of these are pleasant enough tunes, but neither particularly amaze me. I think I slightly prefer "Don't You Stop" because I tend to lean towards piano ballads. I don't love her voice, but it's nice track overall.

- Still Corners are 3 for 3 for me so far! There's just something about their sound that I really like. The guitars always sound really good and they give off a cool vibe. Their vocalist always sounds really good. I dig this a lot! The clipping song was interesting. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who was mislead by this Cam feature. The song is a banger nonetheless. Tough matchup though and I prefer Still Corners.

- I've never been able to fully get into Eric Church. I haven't cared too much about his music in the past. "Hell Of A View" has a nice chorus, but the song doesn't strike me as something memorable. "Impossible Weight" is cool and something I could see myself coming back to.

- "The Last Man On Earth" took a little bit to build up, but I enjoyed the whole song and I liked its progression. "Liberty Bell" is really cool too, so I'm annoyed that I'm forced to pick one.

- Ofc another strong matchup. "The Princess and the Clock" is a jam and I love the production. Such a fun listen. "Superstar" has a really cool instrumental and really nice vocals. I really wish I could vote for both. I haven't fully checked the vote count, but I think KKB is winning, so I'll throw my vote to "Superstar".
