All We Have had a decent vibe, but it went on way too long. I didn't really like the previous Taylor Acorn song in this tournament iirc, but this one's good. Hits a nice middle ground between country pop and alt rock.

I've definitely heard *of* the Veronicas before, but I don't think I've ever heard a song by them in my life. This one was okay, guitar was surprisingly heavy for a pop rock track, I think the hook could've been better. Now, I saw that Untouched was a big radio hit in like 2009 (I swear I have never heard this song) and gave it a listen, that one is quite good. Slow Down is another just fine R&B jam like so many others I've heard in this madness so far. I do like the horns though.

Keep You Down is a pretty piece of acoustic folk. I can't say it left a huge impression on me, but I liked it enough to want to go back to it, maybe I'll have a more fully formed opinion after a couple more listens. Betsy has an interesting vocal quality that I like, I think. The song itself kinda dragged, but it's not bad.

I like this Still Corners just about the same as the other two that have shown up in madnesses so far. More than The Last Exit, not as much as White Sands. They have a cool sound, I like the tone of the guitars on this track. Thinking I was about to hear a Cam feature on a Clipping song was the second best misreading of this tournament, I guess. Clipping are an act I appreciate more than I enjoy listening to I think, but like. I still get from Blood of the Fang and Say the Name stuck in my head at random times, so I guess their songs do stick with me? Anyway, I like this one and expect it to do the same, think I'll try charting it.

Oh, wow, almost forgot about Wolf Alice. Feels weird that they had a top 10 alternative hit in 2015. Huh. This one's okay, it's a slow-burner, maybe a bit too slow, but I do kind of like the glam-y approach to dream pop they go for here. Liberty Bell was kind of cool, feel like I should've liked it more than I did, idk. Kinda felt a bit dry. I'm just ok with both of these, slightly prefer Wolf Alice.

Aw, I actually quite liked Superstar, definitely will come back to this one. Love the instrumental break. Unfortunately it's up against one of my favorite songs of the year. The Princess & the Clock is peak KKB. The electronic vocal bit after the first verse may be the best bit of music of the year so far.

"All We Have" is a vibe, "True Crime" is something that I probably should like in theory but I don't. The songwriting is nice, but I'm just not digging the production choices; it's honestly a bit bland. I suppose I was a bit harsh with it in the country releases RD though.

The chorus isn't the strongest in "Godzilla" imo, there were definitely interesting aspects about the song though. "Slow Down" was a sultry R&B slow jam, I liked it!

"Static" is super nice, I liked the instrumentals and the overall atmosphere of the song a lot. I was like "clipping. and... Cam?" only to realize it's not the country Cam. I did end up liking "96 Neve Campbell" too though.

"Hell of a View" really clicked for me recently and it's one of my country jams right now so my vote goes that way but "Impossible Weight" was nice too.

The buildup in "The Last Man On Earth" is nice, it started off a bit slow but it took off enough towards the end to compensate for that. Though I would've liked for it to take off a bit earlier in the song. "Liberty Bell" was more consistent throughout and I dug the sound.

Not really wild on SG Lewis but All We Have was one of my favorites form the album. True Crime is good...but there's something about the instrumental that feels safe; journeyman and competent but nothing spectacular that I haven't heard in country, mainstream or indie.

Outside of The Last Exit, Still Corners doesn't really excite me in terms of dream pop. 96 Neve Campbell isn't one of my Top 5 from the album but "not favorite from clipping." is still a tier above most acts.
