• Lil Nas' satan shoes were sold out in under a minute. • "Old Town Road" is trending on Twitter now? • He also released the "Satan's Extended Version" of "MONTERO," which is 32 seconds longer than the original.

Bruno released limited edition of Leave the door open CD single. He's fighting for that number one. It depends on when it is shipped. It is only available for pre-order and would be released on 4/16.

Leave the Door Open and Montero seem to be very likely #1 contenders. After Up starts to lose ground, I could easily see those two going head to head for some time

Woah, my mutual retweeted this This guy was the definition of an asshole 🙄 Literally that whole thread hinges on people @ing his Stan account and his alternate Stan account of a different artist. Who the hell when taging someone in a tweet, tags the main account and alt account in the same tweet? The only testimony that he co owns the account is from some random Stan account on Twitter and that’s it.

That doesn't swear or doesn't talk about sex, violence, drugs, etc. And if you can find a song like that, that's one rarity out of like a thousand. Kids will listen to non-kid-friendly song and there's nothing you can do about that. It's been like this for decades.

And 90% of that article relies on 1 testimony from another Stan account.

Let Morgan Wallen make a hyper-sexual song and see how outraged they get...

Call Me By Your Name is actually gaining insane traction, I didn't expect the conservative christian outrage to effect it like WAP because Cardi & Meg are much more omnipresent artists than Nas X but dude is pissing off a whole lot of people. Instant flashbacks to Old Town Road lol. Call Me By Your Name has a good video, good controversy but it needs a crazy remix to set it over the top. So what I’m hearing is “Montero (Call Me By Your Name) ft. Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion” The conservative outrage would be delicious to watch! 😂 Imagine Ben Shapiro and Candace Owens reacting to it...

Listen I'm all for him doing his thing but the Satan shoes is a bit much for me, like deadass human blood.... Work I guess.
Also how is he gonna pop off about "Shouldn't have let your kids listen" when he himself performed it... In front of children. Also it's not like it's WAP or something, it's a child friendly song lol. Cardi B and City Girls aren't out here at the Kids Choice awards perfoming their songs at elementary schools.

this is like OTR again, watch there'll be several new versions to keep the track afloat (even though cannot see it getting the same lengthy hype and airplay than OTR did)

I believe Lil Nas X's song will have more longevity but both songs pulled a lot of streams/started a lot of conversation/went viral from their respective music videos. I can also see Lil Nas X releasing a lot of versions of the song. I'll even go as far as saying henceforth, he'll lean further into being controversial with his lyrics and videos since it seems to be working so well for him right now.

I just think he's gonna try to get that no 1 for a couple of weeks

OTR was pretty harmless in a silly sort of way. It might have referenced adult topics but unless you know what they are, they’re going to go over kid’s heads because it’s not obvious. As others have said, there are plenty of examples of songs with adult references that kid’s pick up on. Even still, that doesn’t make him a child’s entertainer any more than Rihanna, just because kids might have picked up on Umbrella, or Miley, who was actually a celebrity for children.

Cardi B and City Girls aren't out here at the Kids Choice awards perfoming their songs at elementary schools.Shout-out to that one time " Rated R" era Rihanna performed "Hard" and "Rude Boy" at the Kids Choice Awards. My apologies in advance for the very low-quality video, but it's all we can find online. This is as baffling as The Weeknd being nominated for the ode to cocaine "Can't Feel My Face" 😂 But anyway, I'd say Lil Nas X's situation is more similar to that of former Disney stars. Sure, "Old Town Road" and "Panini" were relatively child-friendly, but that doesn't mean he's obliged to be family-friendly for future projects, especially when he wants to explore more adult themes in his music and express his sexuality - it's his right to do so, especially when, unlike the aforementioned former Disney stars, he was never attached to a kid-friendly brand in the first place. Will it be awkward for kids who've subscribed to his channel to potentially end up watching the "MONTERO" video? Yes, but with today's access to technology at an increasingly younger age, that's something parents need to be wary of. That's just my take on it.

^Then BTS would be #1 every single week as they were Social 50 until the chart was put on ice.

I'm not saying he's a kids artist himself. But the song itself is very family friendly and nothing he did persuaded them away from thinking that. So he shouldn't really be shocked when people react like this lmao. It's happened to every artist created a family friendly image, especially if they make a sharp turn lol.
