I feel like SpotemGottem is only putting out more remixes of Beat Box because he genuinely has nothing more to offer as a rapper. If he had more to offer, we’d have already gotten at least one more single from him by now. But nope, he’s becoming the Blueface of 2021.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but Ariana adds nothing to Save Your Tears. The remix is bland and boring and I found myself going back to the original song. I felt the same way with the Blinding Lights remix with Rosalía. The only remixes The Weeknd has done for the After Hours era that were okay were the In My Eyes remix with Doja Cat and the remix with Kenny G. Everything else has been largely forgettable and unnecessary imo.

Can Ariana really be credited with the song basically peaking on radio? She isn’t credited there, but the remix needs to get over 50% of the chart points.

~100 points = ~50k sales = ~13,000,000 audio streams = ~36,500,000 views on YouTube

it's extremely likely SYT will make it to #1 this week barring any mid-week smashes being released. the bigger question is whether Ariana will receive credit for it on the Hot 100, but that's much harder to tell without seeing any numbers from the tracking week.

Typically when a remix comes out, the radio will credit the remix for a few days. Even the Go Crazy remix got a few spins.

I agree. The Doja remix is still the best for me (better than the original)

Unpopular opinion, but you may be right. Remember, most of us assumed that Blinding Lights would go to #1 following the Super Bowl, and it ended up staying at #3. (Maybe Abel should have saved the Rosalia remix for that week.)

What will probably end up being #1 is LTDO.

I couldn't agree more. Ariana's verse is pretty bland and it doesn't give the song really anything extra. I don't know why anyone would bother listening to this when they could just listen to the original, but it'll probably propel it to #1.

Isn't he already done for? If my memory serves me right, Blueberry Faygo is still his only hit. He released a bunch of singles after that which didn't do anything so I wouldn't bother worrying about him if I were you.

Thanks for sharing this. Good thing he's already been charged before building his career and public support any further. Just gross.

I do agree with thegreatdivine that anything post-"Blueberry Faygo" has made zero noise, so I wouldn't worry too much about a future single getting industry support.

If you're referring to Kworb, they just credit whichever version is higher on iTunes.
