^ Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy should be listed as well Exactly. Scorpion/Invasion of Privacy were 2 of the 3 biggest albums of 2018 hits-wise with the third being Beerbongs and Bentleys.

That's just one's with 2, Scorpion was in a seperate post with the 3+s. List is still missing Invasion of Privacy, which had 2 #1 hits.

Hollywood’s Bleeding was close, it could’ve had 4 number 1s but Wow. and Goodbyes both peaked at 2. Edit: To answer your question, the only one I can think of recently is Scorpion with God’s Plan, Nice for What and In My Feelings. Shout out to 'Beerbongs & Bentleys' which could have had a third number one if they gave "Better Now" a proper music video when it was peaking on radio! Post Malone’s music videos have been terrible tbh, some of his songs would be way more memorable if they had a real music video. All his other counterparts do it idk why he doesn’t

Yes sorry, I forgot Invasion Of Privacy, overall 18 albums spawned multiple #1s on the Hot 100 since 2010

iirc, the only 2020s post-album release that went #1 is rockstar.
though like say so with nicki, save your tears with ariana is not on a parent album. (savage with beyonce is on good news which was released after the single.)

All his other counterparts do it idk why he doesn’t I think the music videos for "rockstar", "Psycho", "Goodbyes", and "Circles" have all been pretty solid and memorable, despite not having much connection with the songs themselves. "Better Now", "Wow.", and "I Fall Apart" deserved much better, though, and it's clear a lack of proper music video affected their chart peaks (especially given how well they've held up on streaming since then).

I think it’s weird to include “Bodak Yellow” since it was a hit 9 months before the album even dropped and it had no reference to the album during its entire chart life. But I guess it’s the new way to operate in the streaming era. If the song is a smash, you include it on the album even if it’s a year later. And now I guess her upcoming album automatically will have multiple #1s even though it’s going be a full year later. She also has singles that remain homeless, like “Money” and “Please Me.”

All sorts of singles are released in advance of an album then added to an album later, now you have the return of the main release/deluxe release trend
In the streaming era especially - I think the most #1's from an album thing loses meaning a bit
since the market really seems to be more playlist driven than album driven, what is on a proper album vs not gets a little fuzzy

What is the most recent album to spawn 3 #1’s, remix or not? I would have said Post Malone but it doesn’t appear that way. Hollywood’s Bleeding was close, it could’ve had 4 number 1s but Wow. and Goodbyes both peaked at 2. Edit: To answer your question, the only one I can think of recently is Scorpion with God’s Plan, Nice for What and In My Feelings. Just a minor correction and not one that really affects your point, but "Goodbyes" peaked at #3, not #2.

They just need to not include airplay in the charts similar to the European charts to be honest. It is not an accurate measurement of anything; it is a statistic.

that's cool..and it's eligible for 3x platinum certification in the USA without peaking in top 10 on digital sales or streaming. it's still charting on hot 100 and it secured a second year inside of Hot 100 Year-End songs .. this is what we call longevity!! Wow.. congrats!! for a #3 peaking and one-year-old song, that's not great. I mean, drivers license is already eligible for 3x platinum, and the song was released this year. You guys are so arbitrary with that. There are worse examples of songs barely being even three times platinum with you guys swearing that they are the biggest songs ever

That's a strong debut but calling it 'huge' is a stretch. TOTC trying to get those Arianator RT's! don't know how credible this is, and it is by no means an important record, but: http://instagr.am/p/CODqhNrnBBD

I bet Old Town Roads remix will have the bigger first week "Old Town Road" remix debuted with 2,403,130 streams globally and 1,813,515 in the US. "Save Your Tears" remix debuted with 5,039,298 streams globally and 1,723,905 in the US. so the record they mentioned must be global, but it's also not that far from OTR in the US.

Will Save Your Tears spend a 2nd week at #1? If so, will Ariana still be credited?

I may be wrong, but it's only the end of the second day and Save Your Tears Remix has already declined on Apple Music + is on track to lose #1 on iTunes -- this remix seems like a one-week thing.
The crediting is about to be another 34+35 Remix, S&M Remix, etc mess if so lol.
Billboard should maybe consider giving credits for remixes if only they're still a prominent version after 3-4 weeks (unless the remix is the version initially pushed at radio -- i.e. Bad Blood, Levitating). Seems like they get it wrong more times than not.
These remixes don't even last 1 full week, meaning they were simply a prominent version for a few days. Britney, Beyonce, & Ariana got #1's out of simply having a prominent version for a few days that was still hugely boosted by the original at that.

I mean for Beyoncé she had longevity with all her remixes (mi gente, perfect and savage). Perfect was the only she was removed from after about a month and half at being no.1.

Depends on what you want the Hot 100 to reflect—it's pretty accurate the way they do it if you just look at it on a week-to-week basis. In the grand scheme of things, BTS getting credit for "Savage Love" or Nicki Minaj getting credit on "Say So" during the week they jumped to #1 does look weird in hindsight, but excluding the credit when the remix is the main version during that week would make the Hot 100 even less representative of the specific weeks it is designed to reflect. You win some, you lose some in either scenario.

Perfect Remix did not have longevity considering it barely lasted two weeks as the most consumed version. If you factor in airplay I don’t even think it was more bigger than the original even during the first week it was released. Billboard was late in removing her credit.

Don't pretend to have some moral authority in music when you've admitted to being a Chris Brown stan. I never said to anyone 'stream chris brown songs' ..you support a rapist right now.. dr luke is the worst! Capitalism doesn't make supporting anything easy. I can support Saweetie and Doja and praise the music and yes, even promote the song, while still condemning ang wanting Dr. Luke to be punished, as well as call out the industry for keeping him around.

Dr. Luke and Maroon 5 having the biggest gains on Spotify, the US is doomed And yes, supporting Doja Cat doesn't mean we support Dr. Luke as well. Unfortunately, Doja is apparently stuck on a contract, and I wouldn't be surprised if Puke added a writing credit on "Kiss Me More" (a song he had no hand in producing) just so he could achieve monetary gain from its success. Just a theory, of course. I am disappointed Saweetie has been willingly working with him, though, and as much as I enjoy "Best Friend", I do feel rather guilty about its success, though we should focus on who behind the mike, and she deserves mainstream success.
