On another note, who is this Charlotte Cardin that broke through with an album bomb on the Canadian Hot 100 this week? The little segments I heard in the rankdown video posted by Billboard Top Songs today sound pretty decent. Does she have a chance of crossing over to the US at some point, or is she just going to be a thing in Canada for now? She was a finalist on La Voix, a Quebec version of The Voice. Singers who break through on shows like that don't always tend to maintain long success. But she's been slowly on the rise in Canada. I could see her being mainly a national act.

Who knows, maybe sheβll be another Carly Rae Jepsen and end up with a fluke crossover hit that gains her a greater international following. But for the moment, itβs interesting that she has enough fans in her home country to pull those numbers off considering her background.

I wondered who she was. Iβm really enjoying Sad Girl. Might have to check out more from her.

I'm sorry but the SYT = Circles discourse needs to die. Newsflash - some songs have the same key/tempo. If we can't handle that, music is gonna sue itself into nonexistence within the decade. I just have to say I totally love this! Spot on!
