Can any BTS fans explain to me why there are a playlist consist of 93 BTS songs but out of 23 songs are all Butter Meghan Remix(gaps in between them)? Would you listen to the whole playlist or just play it as a background? I wanna know so i can apply the same thing to my favourite artists too.

Can any BTS fans explain to me why there are a playlist consist of 93 BTS songs but out of 23 songs are all Butter Meghan Remix(gaps in between them)? Would you listen to the whole playlist or just play it as a background? I wanna know so i can apply the same thing to my favourite artists too. Not a BTS stan by any means (I do listen to them from time to time) but I'm going to take a guess and say it's for mass streaming? I know K-pop fans have playlists like this (where there's one song that are scattered through the playlist with other songs from the artist's discography in between) and from what you're describing it seems to fit the bill. If you stream the same song over and over, the plays will get flagged as bot plays so they'll get thrown out and this is their way of countering that. Now whether it actually works I have no idea.

It should be based on a per-user basis, whether it’s by account or by IP or something. I’ve said this long before BTS too. It should always be based on the number of people playing the song, not the number times each person plays it.

Was is implemented from the beginning of youtube 15 years ago or just few years ago? I always thought that looping or replaying a video immediately help increase the views.

The views you see on Youtube and the streams on Spotify are already filtered for suspicious activity but they're filtered once more by Billboard and their data providers to remove suspicious activity and stuff that shouldn't count for charts like the Hot 100 (i.e. plays with VPN connections). It's been in place ever since video views started counting for the Hot 100.

This song just reach 10 wks at number 1 on the BB Hot 100. I am really predicting this would at least around few more wks before drops again.
Anyway, (i know most of you do not like this song) my main reason posting on this thread again is because i read this on BB website and wanna ask something about chart formats:
The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.
"Butter," drew 12.2 million radio airplay audience impressions (down 39%) and 10.7 million U.S. streams (up 110%) and sold 143,000 downloads (up 108%) in the week ending Sept. 2, according to MRC Data.
Butter" returns to the top of the Hot 100 following the Aug. 27 release of its remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion. (The song continues to be credited solely to BTS on the Hot 100 and Digital Song Sales, as total activity for the original and other mixes solely by the group outpaced that of the new remix in overall metrics...
1) Where can i access the full chart with data (besides BB) for the separate Radio Songs Chart (Radio Airplay), Streaming Songs Chart (Streaming) and Digital Song Sales Chart (Sales)?
2) Why do they includes remix versions too for streaming and sales for each artist? It does not look fair.
3) Why do they include official audio and official lyric video too for youtube streaming?
4) How much was Kid Laroi audience impression and streams compare to BTS? Do they count by points?
