Never knew Paula Abdul had a #1 hit let alone four from the same album. Don't think I've ever heard a single song by her. I only know her from American Idol Cold Hearted Snake is the bomb! |

Shade.... lol Kind of OT but what is the bigger streaming service "Spotify or Apple Music"?? Is Pandora still a thing and does Amazon Music do big numbers? I'm not big on streaming and still buy off of Itunes or Amazon if I have a gift card. |

Rush Rush is my fav Paula song. Itβs so breezy and early 90s! I also enjoy the two singles from her 1995 (and final) album - both of which werenβt nearly as big as her earlier hits but they were essentially my introduction to her. "My Love Is For Real" was FIERCE!!!!! I wasn't huge on "Crazy Cool" but liked a decent amount of tracks from that album. (forgetting the title). I actually liked the ballads and midtempos more than the faster tracks if I remember correctly. |

If last week taught you anything, stop using Talk of the Chartsβ βpointsβ as the gospel Some of their new ones look just as silly as that sales figure that they had for Levitating last week The only thing I've been taught is that your posts expose what a huge fad you are (and I'm 99% certain you're a user called "Emperor" from the TOTC Discord who got banned for being incredibly annoying). Two weeks ago you had the inability/complete lack of insight to see that Levitating had strong potential to be #1, and didn't even imagine it could be above SYT & Peaches because you're clueless. You also thought AITO could be above it with the remix (this prediction alone is worthy of deactivating your account)  This is moments before you were wrong last week about TOTC's sales being "10% off after the adjustment" in which you got ended with ease (and yeah, they tanked this week partly because RS glitched, idc). You're embarrassingly over-confident and need to stop, because it's genuinely concerning how consistently wrong you are |

Spotify is the biggest streaming service in the US with ~40% of the audio streams that are counted on the Hot 100 (audio is 50-55% of the points this year, so Spotify is ~20% of the Hot 100). Apple Music is #2 and has the highest peaks for an audio platform, probably because it's less "playlist-driven" than Spotify (there's a great article from ChartMasters about this: chartmasters.org/2019/09/are-apple-music-streams-underestimated/ ). If you combine on-demand and programmed streams, Pandora is still relevant and probably bigger than Amazon. It certainly has more impact at the top of the charts, because some songs have huge on-demand debuts there (5-10M first week). Amazon is big for country and Christmas songs, but it doesn't impact the Top 10/15 of the Hot 100 as much in January-October (it's huge on Christmas, though). |

comparing Levitating's chart-run to DSN and saying it's already bigger than the latter is unfair at all.. somebody check the chart points
like Levitating placed within 7-10 with like 180points due to the weak ass competition after Christmas for months...
but I guess it still got a chance to outdo DSN in the US due to its current resurgence.. however DSN still did it by itself no several remixes combined into 1

So for Olivia's album bomb, are y'all thinking over, under or exactly 4 top 10s that week? I'm thinking Good 4 U and Deja Vu are easily there. DL might need a bit of a push but I def think she'll be able to get at least one new debut Enough For You was planned to be Olivia's 3rd official single before Good 4 U blew up (the latter was originally meant to be a promo-only/non-radio single). I'm expecting that track to have a top 10 debut. I think that, Good 4 U, and Deja Vu will comprise the top 10 entries for Olivia. Drivers License will probably be #11/12, or right on the cusp of #10 if BTS weren't also debuting. And maybe βbrutalβ is another contender. It seems to be a popular one so far and it has the advantage of being the first track on the album. Also β1 step forward, 3 steps backβ could get a boost from the taylor interpolation/credit. Will be interesting to see how many she can get in the top 10/20 next week. |

Which all tracks are going recurrent? Based on these predictions: Positions, You Broke Me First, Dakiti, You're Mines Still, Therefore I Am, What's Your Country Song, Good Days, Just the Way, and Down to One. The first 7 are locked for the 2021 YE, Just the Way is borderline, and Down to One will just miss. Also, TOTC forgot to include the.climb.back, which debuted last year but was on The Off-Season and streamed better than a couple of tracks from the album. It will most likely return to the top 25, meaning that 34+35 is likely going recurrent too, as well as a very slight chance for Blinding Lights. |
