The butter chorus is good but the verses could have been better, I wish they sang the verses like they did the chorus but it’s not too bad. It may grow on me. I doubt it will be the song of the summer, organically at least

I enjoyed "Butter" to extent but I wish they would make more somber music like "Life Goes On" in English instead. That song has pretty great lyrics and "Butter" just fails to sound coherent.

The thread started off with a challenge. Let's see how messy this gets. Without manufactured drama we're probably not looking for a #1 contender from Lil Nas X, but if it has a Panini-type run I think everyone would view that as a success.

As a BTS hater, Butter's pretty great. Hope this holds up well on streaming and radio, won't mind too much if it beats Olivia out.

After a few more listens, butter is actually okay. Super radio friendly, but I still feel like it pales in comparison to dynamite. Didn't really understand what they were saying but that's okay i guess

"Butter" is basically "Dynamite" but released earlier. Equally as good chorus-wise although "Dynamite" has stronger verses. It will be an interesting week whether Olivia gets to keep #1 or BTS takes by a huge margin.

Does anyone know why, US acts' MVs get frozen ~18-500k within 30 min while international acts go unchecked to tens of millions in hours. Why don't they filter them plays?
PS- I'm not drawing dis based on today, I'm seeing this for years with several Spanish, Indian & Korean mvs

SOUR is so great! I wished Olivia chooses a better album artwork. Sorry but it kinda make the songs look cheap. Don't get me wrong, I loved the album but I'm not fan of the album artwork.
