Does anyone know why, US acts' MVs get frozen ~18-500k within 30 min while international acts go unchecked to tens of millions in hours. Why don't they filter them plays? PS- I'm not drawing dis based on today, I'm seeing this for years with several Spanish, Indian & Korean mvs It's not us act specific. It depends on if the mv had a premier. Usually the yt counter freezes when a mv drops to check for bot behavior. It freezes at 400k something for bts. It doesn't freeze when there's a premier. Yt recognizes the number of live people and checks the bot behavior before the mv even drops. All bts mv that didn't have a premier stopped at 400k for a few hours and then it unfroze. Also it's not like premier mvs dont freeze, Dynamite froze at its 7th hour at 50million views and stayed frozen for 2 hours. For premier mvs it freezes a while later |

Bruh 33 million views in 3 hours and i bet itβs half frozen on the BTS video. Iβm scared to find out how many of those views actually count towards the US and how many points it can accumulate alone towards the charts.

Actually they are not frozing at all right now but they will later. They will probably delete few millions as always too. It also broke the biggest youtube premiere of all time, with 3.89 Million viewers in real time. |

Anyways, in terms of the actual music that would actually be guaranteed to chart, Butter is way better than Dynamite and if this obviously go to #1, I wouldnβt really mind it. Oliviaβs album was amazing but some tracks really need multiple listens for them to really resonate with you. Lil Nas releasing a softer and melodic cut really works for him and I hope he does way more of this sound. In terms of the new artists in the past 2 years, Nas, Liv and Billie really love trying new sounds, and I love it.

Sour has too many acoustic ballads for my taste but I'll keep some of the songs. Sun Goes Down is great. Butter is pretty good too, nowhere near as annoying as Dynamite (at least not yet)

Well Butter just got 50M streams on youtube in 6 hours but who knows how much of it is from US. Benchmark for BTS's US performance is around 8% if I remember correctly (ofc for a full tracking period, the US just woke up only) |
