Really cool to see Maneskin chart, though I haven't heard their music yet.

Love that an Italian rock band is entering the US charts but of their 3 current hits, "Beggin'" is easily their worst.

This wouldnβt be the first time Abel debuted at #11. 82 weeks ago, Blinding Lights debuted at #11 - and even dropped for 3 consecutive weeks - before becoming the greatest song in history.

Wouldn't it be funny if it was actually legitimate buyers every week and everyone freaked out for no reason. I assume you speak of a hypothetical scenario, because Army themselves keep receipts on their buying patterns. The webstore logs order numbers sequentially, which certain accounts use to keep track of the pace needed to sell enough copies to get #1. We also have reliable estimates for sales on mainstream outlets (this week ~7k). Army estimated they needed 10-12k orders to lock and got 9.9k. Those orders are estimated to comprise ~98k sales, indicating copious mass buying. Oh this was definitely a hypothetical sarcastic scenario. But it's always entertaining seeing the responses.

So far none of doja, megan, or nicki's albums (standard edition) have boasted multiple t10 hits.

That would be so bizarre. I'm just imagining a bunch of boomer Kpop fans that just love the usability of their website, and keep accidentally buying the same single repeatedly.

I hate the mass buying as much as the next guy, but Bad Habits debuting above Your Right and Wusyaname is just wrong.

it's not that bizarre. spotify weekly: 9.8 mil, 8.3 mil vs. 7.0 mil isn't a huge gap. itunes rn: #4 vs. n/a, #71.

I think Drake is the only one that can beat Butt at this point. Drake in 2018, yes. Drake in 2021β¦I have my doubts.

Don't worry, You Right is going to end up as the biggest of the 3 hits when it is all said and done. Bad Habits will go the way of Heartless/LYTLM, while You Right will have a SYT type of run.

Idk about another single (IIRC What's Next and LNCL would've been under G4U, and thus Butter), but I'd be shocked if he wouldn't beat them when CLB comes out. So at least one week (for Wants and Needs/CLB's single if WaN isn't on the album) for Drake. Maybe if he beats them, they'll wait til BTS' next project and things can return to normal Β―\_(γ)_/Β―

On another note, itβs a shame that You Should Probably Leave didnβt quite debut this week like people were predicting. Most likely will show up next week, though.

I'm shocked by the difference in response to Butter's domination on r/popheads over on Reddit and here, like every Hot 100 thread people are making excuses for the song and don't seem to have any issue with the #1 song in the country only being huge in one metric while the #2 song is huge in the big 3.
Stan Twitter did invade that place not too long ago so I guess it's not too surprising.

And then they'd be puzzled when they got multiple copies of the vinyl single or something like some other boomer musical fans I know.

Glad for Bad Habits making a strong debut!! Whether it's industry-supported or the public is actually liking it we will soon see, but early signs show it's holding up well and I hope it has some longevity!
